BREAKING: China has explicitly informed the US that it recognizes Iran's "exercise of sovereignty" over the Strait of Hormuz, contradicting the White House readout of the Trump-Xi summit that claimed Xi opposed Iranian "militarization" of the Strait and any "toll" for its use, per a source close to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf. More than 10 Chinese ships have successfully transited under Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority permit system in the past two days.

It's good to see uranium stocks strongly up on this news but it's better to stay grounded and recognize that fundamentally this isn't a big deal unless it takes Canadians a year to repair that small bridge Uranium remains a supply underperformance and utility contracting story

Per the report, over the past two days, Qatar has increasingly played a role, alongside Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey, as a key mediator between the U.S. and Iran, as the U.S. still waits for an Iranian response to the current one-page memorandum on the table.

It really really bothers me and I view it as deeply unethical that we’ve all conceded that all of OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX are likely way overhyped and will come public at absurdly overvalued / indefensible valuations and hedge funds / VCs will just get to freely dump on bag holding retail, pensions and other forced index buyers. It’s actually indefensible and disgusting imo. A lot of the blame lies with the index businesses that are changing the rules to facilitate this but also the media, bankers, HF/VC backers and their LPs, the companies themselves, and investors like us who don’t say anything. @Nasdaq
