Maid comes home and cleans her house without pay. A chef comes home and cooks his own meal without pay. A caretaker comes home and takes care of her own kids or parents without pay. A man comes home from work and does all these things without pay too. So why pay housewives?

The Lord doesn’t give any such allowance. Each person must submit to his marital role regardless of whether the spouse does. God doesn’t say “obey your husband ‘only if he sacrifices himself for you’.” And with this logic, one could say I won’t love my neighbor because he doesn’t love me. The whole point is to offer grace as God offers us, and to learn to deny ourselves when necessary. Ultimately the disobedient will not inherit the kingdom of God. So although it can be a lot harder to do your part when the other isn’t, it’s not worth hell.

“Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.” Colossians 3:18-19 Two truths exist: -Women must submit to their husbands -Men must love & be gentle with their wives. These two commands go hand in hand. You cannot separate them. Both are necessary to uphold the other. Any attempt to enforce one of these commands while divorcing it from the other one will not work and only create bitterness & hatred.

If your husband holds those views about you, and your sexuality, and tries to justify his porn use by shaming and dehumanizing you You don't have to have sex with him. Ever.
