I’ve been shown a VERY similar case some months ago. Ancillary testing showed EWSR1 rearrangement. I think this is the same. I favor Adamantinoma-like Ewing sarcoma over a NUT carcinoma. Great dx Leke 🙌🏼.I hope she gets appropriate treatment 🙏🏼.

I would appreciate some thoughts on this case: Jaw mass in a 13 year old. Image shows a nodular multiconsistency submandibular mass crossing the midline. With these areas of ?abrupt keratinisation, my main DDx are Adamantinoma-like Ewing vs NUT midline Carcinoma #pathology

I never knew I would get to a point where I would have to “pause to think” about taking up a university job as a honorary consultant vs. staying as full hospital consultant. Where’s even the future in academics when you need to hustle multiple jobs to survive as a professor? 🤦🏽‍♂️

@DrGeeONE @overtaker_2 It is really a sad outcome for Nigeria as a nation. And there are 6 federal universities in the north where honorary consultants are getting paid 75 percent call duty and collecting the hospital call duty also. The same FGN engaging in payment disparities for similar cadre!???
