Miles Tamboli, owner of Tamboli’s Pasta & Pizza in Memphis TN has refused service to National Guard members. Tennessee Governor Bill Lee requested the activation of the National Guard from the federal government because of the crime rate in Memphis. Memphis had 344 murders in 2023 and 243 in 2024. And only 184 in 2025. Murders have dropped by 30% since the National Guard Memphis Safe Task Force began work in the city. There’s a 48% reduction in carjackings and robberies have decreased 31%. And this loser won’t serve them?
