Ferrari has requested clarifications from the FIA regarding Mercedes front wing. Mercedes would be able to "evade" the regulatory sensor thanks to this 2-phase closure. The first part of the movement (400 milliseconds) would be detected as complete closure by the control system, even if the wing has not yet reached its final mechanical position. The second, slower phase would then complete the process without being considered for the purposes of the time limit. 📰 @Auto_Racer_it

Those watching your first NLS Race today. - 4 hour race, 3 drivers, they change in the stops. - Top (Max’s) class is GT3, (eg GT Class at Le Mans, same cars) - Meetings are all in one day, so they qualified this morning and are racing now. - There’s refuelling from road fuel pumps only outside garages. It takes ages, stops are to time. - There are no safety cars, if somebody crashes they clear it up in situe with local speed restrictions. - Is the full ‘Big Nurburgring’ and most of the GP track linked together into one track 8 minute laps. - All races of the NLS series are at the same track so simply numbered 1-9 - They are more competitive before the Nurburgring 24 hours which is a standalone race. And less competitive afterwards because the teams us NLS to prepare.
