@Soham_03 @anuradhagoyal No I could not. See my conversation with them on July 3, 2019. Their response (which came after a couple of messages) seems to have vanished. But it said that they cannot sell. That's when I just thanked them because I knew that it was going nowhere.

Bought a Sari at a prominent store in Coimbtore. At billing counter, they asked my mobile number, which I refused to give. They said, they can't bill without number. I said - Fine. I will not buy. As I started walking out the sales lady said, I will give my number to bill & this is how the purchase happened. Why is the mobile number capture mandatory? This was something I could walk away with, this could have been food, medicine or something really important. @PiyushGoyal ji please look into it. Data privacy is being breached at every transaction.

@JCGVerboom @anuradhagoyal No angry words were exchanged.The cashiers are also fed up of asking for numbers so they ask the customer to escalate. But disappointment, yes that does show on our faces when we have to leave the items at the counter. Now I use an old number for all such purchases.

@vandananatu @anuradhagoyal Just remember to point your anger at the right person. The person behind the register most likely isnt setting those policies. Im not saying just roll over and give them your number, but screaming at the cassiere isnt gonna fix this. Dont purchase or if you have to give a fake 1

@Shuks80 A lot also depends on the state of mind and newness of experiences. I spent 8-9 hours on my feet showing Delhi to my friend this September. Then went out again. Wouldn't have done that for just me. On the other hand, I kept sleeping after a scuba session in havelock. It varies.

I noticed it a few years back when we went to Andaman islands. After walking and roaming around from 5am to 3pm, we went to our hotel room thinking we will rest for a few hours and then will go out for dinner. But after reaching our room, we (me, my wife and 6 year old son), realised that we were not feeling tired at all. So, we went out again. That was weird. In Delhi, I might have been too tired to even go out for dinner - even after resting for 3-4 hours.

@varun067 Auto guy wanted 200 from indiranagar to Cambridge layout. Willing to humbly sacrifice and come down to 150 as the last cost. This lady is a devi, for agreeing to ferry and charge fair fare.

So l was stuck in Indiranagar without a cab. No auto was willing to go to Koramangala and every auto guy said no to me. I must have walked for almost a kilometre when I found this lady auto driver parked on the side of the road. She said it was late and was going home. As I turned to walk away she called me back and said it's ok she will take me home. I told her it's ok I'll find some other auto but she insisted and took me all the way to Koramangala. I didn't discuss the fare and the actual cost on Uber itself is 300 but she just asked for 200. I told her it's too less but she said it's ok. I insisted on paying 300. This was probably one of the best auto experience l've had in recent time. We need more women auto drivers :)

Wife was watching a show called Good Doctor on Netflix. Out of curiosity,I joined her in watching the show. It's so absurd that I think the average Saas Bahu serial makes more sense. "why didn't you tell your wife ?" You ask? X is safer, duh. That's why I am ranting here.
