Hello @united! As I’m sure you’re aware TSA lines at IAH have exceeded 4 or 5 hours over the last couple of weeks. I’m flying Thursday. Are you waiving the 4 hour limit for a check bag? In other words, can I check a bag more than 4 hours early since the TSA lines are so awful?

A Democratic victory in a usually Republican district gives the national media another chance to say “neener neener neener” to President Trump and Republicans, and we know how much they love to do that.
I point this out because the outcome of a low-turnout special election in a state legislative chamber that is overwhelmingly Republican doesn’t seem all that consequential compared to the fact that a whole bunch of people around the world are going to starve to death because of the Iranian stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz.
This isn’t me being Paul Ehrlich, this is just an observation that when fertilizer doesn’t get to farmers, they grow fewer crops, and when farmers grow fewer crops, food prices go up, and when food prices go up, the poorest people in the world starve. That feels like it should be a bigger deal in our news cycle, doesn’t it?

@kpottermn I disagree. JetBlue gives UA slots at JFK and a Florida hub that they don't have. It's a much better fit than with Southwest.

Despite their existing ties and a year of rumors, United + JetBlue might make the least sense.
Probably 489 reasons why it wouldn’t work but Southwest + JetBlue could have the most upside - for the airlines and maaaaaaybe everyday travelers, too.

Keeping Mayza over McCambley is the move I disagree with. I don’t think they need 4 lefties in the bullpen, and I was hopeful to see McCambley develop as the season went on
