In a good R year VA-7 will flip and in a super R year VA-10 can flip. It would have worked out that way but for some candidate issues on the R side in '22, but the state leg maps work that way too. Which is to say, this map was presented as D+4, but it probably wasn't. 3/

Many elitist residents of Fairfax think like Nova fan.
To them, anyone outside of a 45minute drive from the DC line is a “ungrateful, dumb low country Virginian”.
That is what is so villainous about the gerrymandering effort.
Fairfax would be split into 5 new congressional districts which would include very rural far-flung counties.

This poll found that most Virginians oppose gerrymandering, but also that when asked the specific question that will be on the ballot, the “yes” side is leading by 9 points.
What does that mean?
It means that Democrats did a very good job of crafting a deceptive ballot question that is getting people to vote against their own stated interests.
All of Republicans’ energy must go toward exposing this scam. Whether or not the amendment passed is just a reflection of how many people know what it actually does.
