The Guardian article explained that Harborne used to have non-dom status - One of the first actual policies Reform pushed out was to bring back tax breaks for non doms - They dressed it up as something else, calling it a 'Britannia Card' and adding a £250k fee (nothing to Harborne), presumably as they knew it would be unpopular, but this fooled no-one. - Most of Harborne's assets are not in the UK so imagine how much this would help him. - Reform don't have a lot of detailed policies, but coincidentally, the ones they do seem to benefit an individual that gave Fararge £5m -Another conflict of interest? @kevinhollinrake @OneFinanceGuy @david_hollas @nw_nicholas @donmcgowan spectator.com/article/reform…

Their largest donor gave Nigel Farage £5,000,000. He was a non-dom. His assets are predominantly offshore. The policy would benefit him directly. This is not a coincidence. This is how it works. If you look closely, there are signs around the bar usually that state "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone". Usually it means drunks or people who get violent when they have had alcohol, but it works well for total twats as well it seems.

WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK IS GOING ON IN BRITAIN?! 😡 A Wetherspoons manager in Braintree has just been caught on camera openly refusing to serve customers who support Reform UK. “I’m deciding that”, he smugly tells punters. Refusing service over politics?! In a bloody pub?! Reform UK is currently the biggest party in the country, leading the polls at 25-28%, favourites to win the next election. These aren’t some fringe weirdos, they’re ordinary, hard-working Brits. The exact salt-of-the-earth customers who pack out Wetherspoons every week, keep the pints flowing and the lights on. Without them, half these pubs would be broke. And some snotty little bar manager thinks he can play political gatekeeper? F*ck off! That’s not how Britain works. You don’t get to ban paying customers because of who they vote for. If you can’t handle serving people with different views, don’t work with the public. Simple as. Tim Martin, sort this out and fire him immediately. This is a disgrace.
