Later on co-wrote a bible: ‘The Art of Electronics’ by Horowitz and Hill. Which I’ve had versions of on my shelves for nearly 40 years. A handy reference especially in the pre-internet days. #AmateurRadio #hamradio #qo100

Received signals from GEO‑KOMPSAT‑2A (GK‑2A) are way weaker than required, so work on the focal point of the Helical Antenna or review of the general focal antenna design maybe needed.
Any comments or suggestions most welcome.

@F5VMJ Nice! Seems a lot my setup HIHI!! Go for SKY65135 PA, 30 dBm OP / 30 dB gain, nice spectrum, very affordable, perfect buddy for Pluto+

1. Spent winter in the dungeon… and collected a smörgåsbord of QRPp main movers: Ordered+tested for different configs. Also, a mix of cheap Amazon coax cables …perfect as AdHoc 2.4GHz cable ‘attenuators’ for milliwatting into QO-100. Because in SM/ less is more …it’s roving ‘al dente’. #qo100 #hamradio #AmateurRadio #amsat

@indiawhiskey1 @aborgnino @Chris_Diemoz @shortwave78 @i56578_swl secondo me no... online si trovano info più aggiornate ed in più molte UTE non esistono più

@vittben @aborgnino @Chris_Diemoz @shortwave78 @i56578_swl Adesso vale la pena comprarlo? Ne ho una copia di 10 anni fa

It's impressive to see how many Italian UTE stations were active on HF (from a Klingenfuss guide from the early 90s) @Chris_Diemoz @shortwave78 @i56578_swl

@nascom1 It's a very sad news -- all my support to you and your colleagues. All the best Richard 👍💪

@F5VMJ CW please!!! 😎 I do not like FTx, but seems that to get a new country/grid/etc today this is the way, sadly... Expecially if been QRP (...you know...!)
English

Thanks for the feedback. Great for rubber stamp QSOs (but sloooooooow). FT4 faster (but still slooooow).
I tried VarAC many moons ago. And also JS8Call. But ultimately both seemed over complicated …in the end, I would just use CW. Although, did like the mailbox facilities (but then, I could just use WinLink).
English

Not my cup of tea.
🇮🇸Trying FT8 on this trip. Runs flawlessly (mostly) and I can switch between SSB/FT8 smoothly (mostly). As much as I dislike it …it does seem to be popular. So will try it more over the next week.
Thanks for video Tasos SV2HZT
