Today we shared an important leadership transition at Callstack. From July 1, I will step into the CEO role at @callstackio, and @foxthecoach will become Advisor to the Management Board, supporting me and the team through the transition. We founded Callstack with a simple belief: that a deeply technical team from Poland could work with some of the best companies in the world and have a real influence on how modern software is built. Over the years, that belief became a real company, with an incredible team, strong customers, and a reputation I'm proud of. Now we are entering a new chapter. The market around us is moving fast. AI is changing how software is built, how companies buy, and what they expect from partners like us. That creates a huge opportunity for Callstack. Over the last months, as we sharpened our GTM direction, my focus became clear: turning what has always made us strong into our next market opportunity. I'm grateful for the role Kris has played in helping Callstack reach this stage, and I'm glad he will stay close during the handover. I'll share more about our direction in the coming weeks. For now, I'm excited to work even more closely with our team, customers, and partners on what comes next. We have a lot to build. And I believe the best part is still ahead of us!

Stick to Bluetooth protocol analysis (no binary decomp) to leverage interoperability exceptions in law and Whoop's ToS carve-out. Open source the research code on GitHub with strong disclaimers: personal/educational use only, users responsible for ToS compliance, no affiliation. Don't distribute ready apps. Document methods clearly. This supports statutory defenses. Not legal advice — speak to a lawyer about reverse engineering protections in your country. Expect possible enforcement actions anyway; firmware locks or contract claims are risks.

23.5 hours later... there's an app and it's open source. It tracks activities & sleep. It has full sensor support: HR, SpO2, HRV, Temperature, Motion, etc.

Whoop ToS (Apr 2026) bars reverse engineering/modifying Services/Software “except to the extent this restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law.” That carve-out preserves statutory interoperability rights (EU Software Directive, US DMCA §1201 exceptions, similar elsewhere). Protocol-level Bluetooth analysis (no binary decompile) likely sidesteps the “reverse engineering the Software” trigger. Device use without active membership still breaches the core subscription + “only for Services” rules. Personal/open-source framing helps in some jurisdictions but isn’t ironclad. Jurisdiction-specific; Whoop can still act on accounts/contracts.

It's not just luxury hotels that are a scam, it's almost everything that's luxury that's a scam Gf bought Rimowa suitcases, expensive and supposed to be better quality than regular ones, but of course they're much worse They keep breaking, like all of them, cracks in the handles, cracks in the sides, it's just cheap plastic shit but it costs $1000 or more Rimowa was bought by LVMH in 2016 which has an average profit margin of 66% and whose strategy is to increase prices by ~5x, decrease costs by ~5x and then create artificial scarcity (limited availability per shop) because people want what they can't get (not me though but many) LVMH is kinda like the luxury version of private equity, it makes everything more expensive and worse and hard to get!
