It is unacceptable that the Province is still waiting for service provider guarantees before supply chain processes can be finalised, with timelines only projected for Quarter 1 (April–June). This reflects poor planning, weak project management, and a lack of urgency from government. Affected intersections include: • Maple Drive & Allandale Road (M39) • Allandale Road & Greig Street • R55 & Kyalami Boulevard • R55 & Main Road (M71) These are major routes used by thousands of motorists every day. While pointsmen have been requested at some intersections, this cannot replace properly functioning traffic infrastructure. The DA will continue to fight for: • Faster infrastructure repairs • Proper maintenance planning • Accountability from contractors and departments • Transparent communication with residents • Safe and efficient roads for commuters Residents deserve a government that fixes problems before they become crises.
