Still seeing things
@waitwhywhen
Palestinian kids are kids! For reals

I am co-sponsoring the @RashidaTlaib-led resolution recognizing the ongoing Nakba, the erasure and dispossession of the Palestinian people who currently face a brutal occupation.

Honored to have my latest essay published by @AndrewPessin and @InstituteCSA. In it, I argue that “antisemitism” has been diluted through overuse, and that we must shift our focus to the much more dangerous TABOOS of “Jew-hatred” and “antizionism”. icsa.substack.com/p/by-erez-levi…

McMorrow attacking Piker was one of the dumbest moves I’ve seen from a Democrat in a very long time. Average American has no idea who he is but young Dem primary voters like him and polarized to El Sayed.

@reesetheone1 You seem like a great judge of which Democrats to promote

NEW: New York Times rejects Israeli Prime Minister @netanyahu’s threat of a lawsuit over @NickKristof piece, calling it, “part of a well-worn political playbook that aims to undermine independent reporting and stifle journalism that does not fit a specific narrative. Any such legal claim would be without merit.”

Following the publication by Nicholas Kristof in The New York Times of one of the most hideous and distorted lies ever published against the State of Israel in the modern press, which also received the backing of the newspaper, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar have instructed the initiation of a defamation lawsuit against The New York Times.

Hannah Einbinder says Mubi is aware she will be saying "Free Palestine" on the press tour for "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma." “I unfortunately think there’s a lot of dark money in Hollywood. We, as artists, as individuals, don’t make those decisions," she says when asked about the controversy over the film's distributor Mubi taking funding from Sequoia Capital, which has ties to the Israeli military. "But what I can tell you is that I can and have and will continue to speak and advocate for a free Palestine. And Mubi knows that about me and they’ve been supportive of all us." wp.me/pc8uak-1lHg4z

Oh, let's stop pretending like this is normal. If this were a playlist about celebrating deportations and songs like "English Only" and "Build a Wall." There would be a massive outcry. But because it's anti Jew, it's ok with many here in XLand and in the Cult of Mamdani. Just admit that you have an anti-Jewish problem and work on it.

Love him or hate him, Bernie Sanders is the spiritual leader of the Democratic Party now, while the two most prominent Democrats he ever ran against (Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden) have had their legacies ground into dust.

@mquintos @JDCocchiarella I strongly supported Biden's domestic policy, but his legacy is stained by the genocide he enabled.

We have a mayor of New York City whose entire personality is antisemitism, who married a woman whose entire personality is antisemitism and their relationship is built on a foundation of shared antisemitism.

It’s good to see a Harris campaign staffer publicly say this

The reason to release the DNC audit is to learn from the mistakes of the past so we don’t make them again and suffer another catastrophic defeat like 2024. Winning is how we protect voting rights.

Hell, I would love a report. I don’t have a damn thing to hide. But while some folks were obsessing over a report most Americans will never read or care about, Black voters in the South were staring down the possibility of losing voting power for generations. This may not be a priority for some people. But as a Black man from the South, this is about my existence. It’s about the environment in which I’m raising my sons. It’s about whether my children grow up in a state and a country that sees them as equal citizens whose voices matter. This is personal to me. This is about survival. We are months away from what I believe are the most important midterms of my lifetime. The Democratic Party cannot afford distractions, vanity projects, or circular firing squads while the fundamental rights and representation of Black Americans are under attack. History is watching all of us. Release the damn thing after the midterms but before the presidential elections, but in this moment we must FOCUS!
