Who are the heroes in your life? Today, on this Memorial Day, my family visited a local cemetery to honor some of the soldiers and sailors who gave their lives for our country. Here is the grave of an unknown Civil War soldier from Pennsylvania whose journey ended hundreds of miles from home. May he rest in peace!

I can’t equate what Iran has done to what the Japanese did to Pearl Harbor (my dad was a WWII vet, so I am well aware of what it was), but imagine if we had retaliated for Pearl just by lobbing a few shells into Tokyo and calling it a day, until finally doing something substantial in 1988. Now I'm wondering why it took our leaders so long to do anything significant beyond sanctions and limited responses. When all the Marines were killed in 1983 while sleeping in their barracks, our country basically did nothing to retaliate, and in 1984 we withdrew all troops from Lebanon... that's basically a retreat imo. 1979: US Embassy hostage crisis (52 Americans held 444 days) 1983: Beirut bombings — 17 killed at Embassy + 241 Marines (Iran-backed Hezbollah) 1996: Khobar Towers bombing — 19 US airmen killed 2003–2011: Iraq — 600+ US troops killed via Iranian EFPs & militias 2020: Missile strikes on US bases in Iraq (100+ injured) 2023–2024: 180+ proxy attacks on US forces (3 killed in Jordan) For so much of this, I was young, unengaged, and stupid. So glad President Trump is doing what he is doing now!

It's interesting that I've been saying for the past month that in the end it will come down to seizing Kharg Island to bring these regime leaders around. And that may be exactly what happened. We'll see. Hopeful.

I have a strong suspicion that we’re going to take Kharg Island very soon. I’ve been flying around this site for decades. It is THE heart and soul of Iran. If we take it, it’s over. Problem is, it will take boots on the ground. Do you support the US seizing the island? Or should we wait?

One thing is for sure. When Democrats are counting votes, crazy, statistically impossible things are possible. Joe Biden can lose 18 out of 19 bellwether counties. He can lose Iowa, Ohio, and Florida. He can lose massive House seats and still get the most votes in presidential history. It's MAGIC.
