@begottensun @jahman_adamski @grok Naa bro The transaction is not making accounting sense 4 me. Am I missing something..?? are u saying the loan value is more than value of the cars purchased. N vehicle transaction is juss 4 optics, the loan is the means by which money is brought into the system...?

The 48-Hour Flush: How the “Back Door” Really Works ✈️🇨🇭 Ever wondered how someone can “donate” $10 million in luxury cars while the rest of the country is scraping by? Come on that’s not generosity. It’s a well-oiled, high-velocity laundering machine. Here’s exactly how it runs: Step 1: The Gold Run (Getting the Money Out) The jet — ZS-ACT — makes quick stops in places like Nairobi and Dar es Salaam to load up on gold. Then it’s off to Sharjah, where the gold gets refined and polished into something that looks clean enough to sell on the open market. The real move happens next: the plane touches down in Basel, Switzerland. Not by accident. Basel is the nerve center of the global gold trade, packed with refineries like Metalor. This is where the paperwork gets done and the real payday begins. Step 2: The 48-Hour Flush (Beating the Clock) These days, serious bank accounts run on automated triggers. If dirty or “grey” money like gold sale proceeds sits untouched for more than 48 hours, the system flags it for human scrutiny. Also automatic audit on companies accounts submission. That’s why he flies in personally. He signs what needs signing and immediately shifts the funds into a secondary shelf company before the window slams shut. Miss that 48-hour deadline, and the account can freeze solid. Step 3: The Clean Loan-Back (Bringing It Home) 1 example in particular Once the money’s cleaned, it has to re-enter the country looking legit. So instead of simply buying the cars, he “lends” the funds to a local luxury dealership. The dealer imports the vehicles using that loan. Then, through another shell company he controls, he buys the cars from the same dealership. The dealer repays the “loan,” and suddenly everything looks like a straightforward business deal. To the public, he’s the generous benefactor gifting fancy cars. In truth, he’s just laundering money right out in the open. The Bottom Line: He’s not heading to Basel for routine maintenance. That’s the convenient excuse. The real purpose is simple: beat the clock, get the signatures done, and keep the money flowing before anyone inside the bank starts asking questions. It’s all happening in plain sight — or should I say, “plane” sight. 😉 Don’t get distracted by the shiny gifts. Follow the money. Always follow the money.

A polite note for clarity and to give context, The U.S. aerial refuelling fleet, primarily comprising ageing KC-135s (many dating back to the 1950s/60s, with upgrades) and newer KC-46 Pegasus models, has indeed been under strain. The high operational tempo in this conflict—frequent long-range missions over Iran—pushes airframes, engines, and crews beyond peacetime limits, increasing the risk of mechanical failures, fatigue-related issues, or mid-air mishaps (especially during complex refuelling operations). While CENTCOM hasn't specified the exact cause, the exclusion of enemy action or blue-on-blue incidents points toward a non-combat accident, such as a structural failure, collision between the two tankers, or another technical problem.

This MOU would have provided $367 million over five years to support Zimbabwe's priority health programs, including HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, tuberculosis, malaria, maternal and child health, and disease outbreak preparedness. "We believe this collaboration would have delivered extraordinary benefits for Zimbabwean communities— especially the 1.2 million men, women, and children currently receiving HIV treatment through U.S.-supported programs,” said U.S. Ambassador to Zimbabwe Pamela Tremont. “We will now turn to the difficult and regrettable task of winding down our health assistance in Zimbabwe.” The proposed MOU represented the largest potential health investment in Zimbabwe by any international funder and was built on a co-funding model designed to ensure sustainability and a path toward self-reliance. The MOU asked Zimbabwe to gradually increase its own health funding alongside U.S. support, building on more than $1.9 billion in U.S. health support to Zimbabwe since 2006 that is directly responsible for Zimbabwe reaching the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals. Sixteen African countries have so far signed health collaboration MOUs with the United States, which represents over $18.3 billion in new health funding including more than $11.2 billion in U.S. assistance alongside $7.1 billion in co-investment from recipient countries. "The United States has a responsibility to American taxpayers to invest their resources where mutual accountability, transparency, and shared commitment are assured," Ambassador Tremont noted. "These MOUs set a higher standard for bilateral health cooperation—one that prioritizes sustainability, measurable outcomes, and shared ownership of results. The Government of Zimbabwe has assured us it is prepared to sustain the fight against HIV/AIDS, and we wish them well." For more information, please contact: HararePress@state.gov

Sanctions are used to squeeze the corrupt, and aid is used to keep the people alive. Lifting sanctions doesn't fix the Healthcare, but direct aid into the healthcare system can help. Mentioning sanctions for turning away medicine that would save people, just because some corrupt politicians don't want to be transparent with the data, is very lazy.

The U.S. offers $367 million. Zimbabwe says no. Now the embassy releases a statement full of regret, listing all the diseases and children that could have been helped. As if the only way to save lives is through American money. But here's the question no one asks: why does health aid always come with conditions? Why does assistance always require alignment? And why is saying no treated like a crime? Zimbabwe has reasons. Maybe they're tired of strings. Maybe they're tired of being told what to do in exchange for treatment. Sovereignty isn't cheap. Neither is dignity.

@pythaginboots "Jose Mourinho’s reputation in the mud" If you think Mourinho's reputation took a hit as a result of the endless Vinicius whining, you're sorely mistaken. Vinicius on the other hand is probably the worst thing to ever happen to this sport.

What a press conference this is. Vincent Kompany didn’t hold back in his eloquent dissection of the Vinicius Jr racism incident. Jose Mourinho’s reputation in the mud, and so rare to see a football leader speak with such refreshing honesty and no BS.

I don't know about you but currently, I will pick Michael Carrick over Luis Enrique. Reason is, Enrique will want money for top signings to compete for the league which Ineos won't give. But Carrick can use the players he have to compete for the league.

Commentator : "Micheal carrick has found a system that suits his players, instead of looking for players who suits his system". The former isn’t sustainable and will be exposed with time while the latter is sustainable in the long run. Ole played a system that suits the players and was exposed down the line. Ten Hag abandon his philosophy and played a system that suits the players and got exposed down the line. Rangnick and Amorim wanted to get players that suit their system and not the other way round but were not allowed to see out their project. Carrick is playing a system that suits the players, it will get results for now and might win trophy like Erik Ten Hag but down the line it’ll be exposed. When players are signed based on the structure or system on ground it’s easy to plug and play the player in that structure and even if the coach is sacked, the next manager can continue with that system without need to overhaul the squad like Manchester United have repeatedly done for years. A good example is Klopp and Arne Slot, Liverpool signed Slot according to the structure and system on ground that was built by Klopp thereby offering continuity and sustainability hence why Arne Slot could win the premier league in his first season and also why Liverpool rejected Amorim cause he doesn’t suit their system and structure. Carrick ball is for short term fixes will surely get exposed down the line. “Things like style of play will become an issue all over again”. A system and structure over vibes.

🚨🗣️ Eriksen: "Everything we do at United is compared to those who were there before. So, whatever the position, there are: 'Now we have Casemiro, but he has to be compared to Roy Keane,' or 'We had van Persie, so this striker has to be able to do that.' “As soon as you wear the logo, you carry all that history with you; you have to live up to what was there before and improve it, which, of course, is almost impossible when you won the title eight times in eleven years. “That puts a lot of pressure on the players and then, obviously, when you find yourself in a situation where you change a lot of managers, a lot of structures, then yes, it's difficult for a player to truly succeed." #MUFC [@TimesSport]
