A team of climate change campaigners walking across Uganda to raise awareness about water, environmental and climate issues has covered 485 kilometres of the 560-kilometre journey, demonstrating resilience and endurance as they approach the final leg to Kampala. The walk as a pre event activity for UWEWK24 officially starts today. The walk will be flagged from Fort Portal this morning.

As partners in UWEWK24, we have been flagged off to Fort portal. The walk kicks off tomorrow. We will go through Kasese, Mbarara, masaka then Kampala.
