Does the future belong to modest but focused leaders? Why humility matters The future belongs to the humble but focused. Not because humility diminishes authority, but because it redefines it bit.ly/4ubRO1q?utm_me…  #MonitorUpdates

To the untrained eye, it’s just a seating arrangement. But for those who understand nonverbal communication, Uganda was served the script in silence. Not the Vice President. Not the Speaker. But the son seated in that position. In power politics, placement is language and yesterday, the country may have been shown who they’re preparing to hand the baton to.

The Speakership race, the last order clearly stated what we knew or should have known that Mzee,s choice will be our candidates.Situations determine the kind of leader that should be at the helm. I don't see withdraw of support but fresh direction.Perhaps my reading is wrong.

WE AGREE WITH MALAYSIA ON NORWAY 🇳🇴 BAD BEHAVIOR Dear PM @anwaribrahim Matsanga Africa Perspective Statement 1. Matsanga Africa Perspective stands in agreement with Malaysia regarding Norway’s unilateral decision to revoke the export licence for the Naval Strike Missile (NSM) system and associated launcher systems. 2. International defence cooperation depends on trust, contractual certainty, and mutual respect between sovereign states. Where a nation has fulfilled its obligations under a signed agreement, as Malaysia asserts it has done since 2018, any abrupt reversal by a supplier raises legitimate concerns about reliability, predictability, and the sanctity of international contracts. 3. Such decisions extend beyond a bilateral commercial dispute. They carry serious implications for defence readiness, strategic planning, and regional security architecture. 4. Malaysia’s concerns over the impact on its Littoral Combat Ship modernisation programme are therefore understandable and deserve serious consideration. 5. The credibility of global defence partnerships rests not merely on advanced technology or commercial competitiveness, but on the assurance that agreements entered into in good faith will be honoured accordingly. 6. Matsanga Africa Perspective therefore supports Malaysia’s call for accountability, transparency, and greater consistency in international defence relations. RANT on xenophobic violence in South Africa 🇿🇦. What happened to the UBUNTU philosophy? Don’t test our patience. Africa is tired of watching fellow Africans attacked in xenophobic violence in South Africa. Year after year, the pattern repeats, and the government response hasn’t matched the scale of the problem. Each incident erodes trust in Pan-African solidarity and raises questions about protection of non-citizens under the law. Dear President @CyrilRamaphosa, you have failed us as a continent. This issue requires consistent action and visible accountability beyond just condemning statements. Stronger prevention, faster prosecutions, and public reporting on progress would show commitment to the rule of law for everyone in SA. Africans across the continent are tired. The response now sets the tone for how we uphold the AU’s principle of solidarity. Otherwise you are testing our patience. #SayNoToXenophobia #PanAfricanism x.com/SpireJim/statu…

At some point, Speaker Among's Mama Bukedea FM won a parliamentary contract worth Ugx 3,135,000,000 to publicize Parliament activities. But, the managers of the radio station who signed the contract were again employees of Parliament. #UgandaParliamentExhibitionII

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 Since his appointment as Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in July 2022, Hon. @norbertmao has delivered tangible results with integrity, vision, and unwavering commitment to justice for all Ugandans as he points some of them in this video (📌Listen) He has championed greater access to justice, tackled inequalities where the law too often favors the rich and powerful, and aggressively promoted 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (ADR) to make our courts faster, fairer, and more efficient. Under his leadership, the 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 (JLOS) has seen stronger collaboration between government and development partners, while pushing forward long-overdue constitutional review processes after decades of stagnation. A seasoned lawyer, former Gulu LC5 Chairman, three-time presidential candidate, and Democratic Party President, Mao brings independent, principled leadership, the kind that balances the House, fights grand corruption, and ensures @Parliament_Ug serves the people, not just the powerful. In a time when Uganda needs fresh, competent, and unifying leadership in the Speaker’s chair, Hon. Norbert Mao stands ready to steer Parliament with fairness, vibrancy, and respect for the Constitution. This is not just about one man, it’s about building a better Uganda. I support Hon. @norbertmao for Speaker because results matter, experience counts, and integrity is non-negotiable.

𝐌𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐧. @JustineNameere , 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐏: Leadership in PLU is guided by its own structures and the direction of its Chairman Gen @mkainerugaba . Attacking the Secretary General, Hon. @DaudiKabanda , for executing the League’s official position is not the best approach. No individual MP should attempt to dictate how PLU runs its internal affairs or handles its endorsements. While it is understandable to feel gratitude for the support Hon. @AnitahAmong (AAA) gave you during your court case, political decisions at this level are guided by broader national interests, not personal loyalties. Hon. Nameere should tread carefully and avoid personalizing what is essentially an organizational decision by PLU. Politics demands wisdom, patience, and respect for institutions even when they change direction. Let’s allow PLU to operate freely as it aligns with the guidance from above.

Continue championing the revolution that Ugandans desire, while firmly protecting and advancing the interests of the Patriotic League of Uganda and our leader, General @mkainerugaba. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 Wishing you a successful and blessed term ahead.
