@Ssewagudde @mkatagaya @G4S Surely, I don't know how @AbsaUganda train their people in our Uganda of today but they're so honest a similar incident happened to me at Abaita branch.

@mkatagaya @G4S I also give testimony of having forgotten my phone at ABSA Mpererwe ATM Petrol station some time back only to realise it after reaching home. I drove back only to recover it from the pump attendant who had entered the booth after me and kept it. I gave him a handsome reward.

Here is a good Ugandan story I must tell! Yesterday (Sunday) evening I transacted at an ATM at Total Kyanja, but I only picked the card and drove away. I was exhausted and distracted. When I reached my destination, I realized I didn’t have the money and surely I must have left it at the machine. I drove back and arrived after about 30 minutes. I found this man, the guard, seated waiting and hoping that I’d return. He had picked the money and badly wanted to give it to the owner!! He handed me the man! He explained that no matter how little he earns, he has to be honest. I was humbled and grateful. Of course, I know what to do in such circumstances- gave him a good tip - a portion of the money! He was happy for that but especially that he was able to see me and return the money. That’s my hero! @G4S you have a great staff in Geofrey! There are few people like that left. That’s a person you’ll put in charge of distributing iron sheets to vulnerable people and he’ll deliver every single piece.
