Mastered the art of blockchain while watching YouTube on a stolen iPhone from a tourist's backpack. My favourite word is retard and that’s what you probably are

@wealthybaboon @durreadan01 It's not "retarded" just because you make it limited. On macOS there can very much be just as much stuff behind the control center as well as nothing on iOS. Older iOS versions did the background blur way better. In iOS26 everything turns into a gray slop there...

macOS’s control center looks SO MUCH better than iOS’s control center. It actually does Liquid Glass right.

@durreadan01 @LuftkoppTim Right, but there is barely any content behind it unlike on iOS which then tens to blend in. Not even talking about screen size. Totally retarded comparison

🗞️iOS 26.4.2 Deep Analyze🔬 onejailbreak.com/blog/ios-26-4-… Apple’s iOS 26.4.2 is a surgical update focused entirely on privacy and stability, with zero changes to core system components. - 0 kernel changes - 0 iBoot changes - 0 WebKit changes - iMessage payload sanitization added (server bag stripping) - Notification storage rewritten (text → length only) - On-device notification text purge triggered - Poster framework race condition fixed (os_unfair_lock) - 9 binaries recompiled (no symbol changes) - No new features. No added or removed files. Just targeted fixes.

@tuxpizza Correct, all keystore values tied to the app. That's not necessary. They could however just clear those notifications.... Not sure how they could access the encrypted keystore that runs under the OS and pull those data out anyway...

@wealthybaboon I don’t mean the entire keystore, just the values tied to that specific app

Apple actually tried to fix this glaring privacy issue in iOS 10.3 beta by deleting all keystore (keychain) values once an app is uninstalled. However too many apps relied on this undocumented 'feature', so they ended up reverting the change before releasing the public version.
tuxsudo@tuxpizza

Good. Now Apple must remove one of the worst 'features' which allows an app to persistently store data in the local keystore in a way that only a full phone wipe can remove. If I uninstall an app, then reinstall it, I should not still be signed into my account for that app.

When Steve Jobs announced the iPhone had a “real OS” and iPhone was built on Mac, that really set the stage for what followed. If you told me my phone would print to a network printer in the background at a time when phones hardly had a clipboard I would have been shocked.

This guy is a fraud. Telegram messages stay unencrypted on their servers all the time. 99%. (Well, encrypted with a hot key they know and use). Easy proof - turn off your phone. Login on another device. Magic, your messages are there! Where do they come from?
Pavel Durov@durov

WhatsApp’s “E2E encryption by default” claim is a giant consumer fraud: ~95% of private messages on WhatsApp end up in plain-text backups on Apple/Google servers — not E2E-encrypted. Backup encryption is optional, and few people enable it — let alone use strong passwords.

Splyce has closed its strategic round. Backed by @SuiFoundation, @StellarOrg, @SolanaFndn, @LucidDrakes, @SarsonFunds and Kin Capital. $342 billion in real-world assets have been tokenized. Less than 8% is usable in DeFi. The gap isn't supply. It's infrastructure. Institutional capital needs fixed-rate lending onchain. Splyce gives borrowers rate certainty and lenders real yield. More soon.
