The most aggressive tax-loss harvesting solution for individual investors: Long-short direct indexing You simultaneously hold long and short positions in the market so you harvest losses on both sides Here's exactly how it works (& who it's for):

Everyone is shocked about Farcaster returning capital, but it's trivial to live off of a huge raise in a high interest rate environment. Instead of doing an ICO, users should be able to delegate interest from @aave or @Morpho deposits to risky projects in exchange for tokens.
Balaji@balajis

As a Farcaster investor, can confirm: money is coming back to investors. Dan and the team built something genuinely amazing, perhaps the best decentralized social protocol. He's independently wealthy from Coinbase, and could have done whatever he wanted, but he decided to spend many years grinding on Internet freedom and decentralization. For that I salute him.

A year ago, I was battling a mysterious illness that left me crippled with brain fog and skin rashes all over my body. I couldn't even sit at my desk and work. I was suffering. But little did I know this would lead to starting a new business with @BlakeMycoskie, the founder of TOMS Shoes, and going all-in on the thing I was meant to build. See back in November 2024, I was desperate. I felt like I was underwater every morning when I got out of bed. My brain was barely working enough to tell me it wasn’t working. When you're trying to recover, you become obsessive about the details. Not in a neurotic way, but in a “this actually matters way". What you eat. How you sleep. How you start your day. I turned my kitchen into a lab. The counter looked like a CVS aisle. Pills. Powders. Protocols. The more I experimented, the better I felt. I discovered that every single morning you wake up in a hole. Your body dumps water, minerals, electrolytes and depletes its cellular energy while you sleep. That isn’t a defect. It’s your body repairing itself while you rest. My energy returned. My brain fog cleared. I got my life back. I wanted to help other people struggling with the same issues. But when I looked at that mess of jars and tubs, I thought: There has to be a better way. That question sent me and Blake Mycoskie on a year-long journey. We talked to doctors, biohackers, and hydration scientists. We devoured research on hydration and cellular energy. The most shocking thing we learned? Supplements don’t work. People end up with drawers full of pills they forget to take. You know what actually works? Making the right choice the easiest choice. A simple habit that compounds. One that’s easy to remember and enjoyable, not a chore. That's why Blake and I aren't building a supplement company. We're building a habit change company. Morning Water is one glass of water optimized for what your body needs when you wake up When your morning works, everything works. Better focus. Better energy. Better decisions all day. Products don't change your life. Habits do. But the right product makes good habits inevitable. Here's the deal: I had my team set aside 50 Sample Kits from my personal allocation for Twitter. That's all I've got, the rest will go to paying customers. Retweet and comment "MORNING" below, and I'll ship you 7-days of Morning Water directly to your door. No catch. Just want your honest feedback. P.S. I think you need to follow me so I can dm you.

$6.25 billion. 25 million children. $250 each. Susan and I believe the smartest investment we can make is in children. That’s why we’re so excited to contribute $6.25 billion from our charitable funds to help 25 million children start building a strong financial foundation through Invest America. 💪📈🇺🇸 onedell.com/investamerica/

@mcagney Summerlin seems cleaner, more upscale, and has the better school district. Also is at higher elevation so slightly cooler temp-wise.

@Jason Debt obligations are $87M in 2026 (according to VanEck). The dividends make up the rest but they can be suspended without default risk.

No bitcoin bailouts! If $mstr is forced to liquidate btc to pay interest, and bitcoin crashes, most folks belief that’s the next best buying opportunity we’re gonna see ! Note: I don’t know if it’s a Ponzi or just overly complicated—but I would never touch it!
JaguarAnalytics@JaguarAnalytics

$MSTR Ponzi scheme is blowing up. $689M interest due in 2026 that they don’t have. Saylor is enticing investors by raising yield by +25 bps to 10.5% on preferred shares to raise capital to keep running the ponzi, while collateral deflates in value. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

13Fs only show long positions. Suppose a fund sold 5M put spreads (short higher strike, long lower strike)- a bullish trade, i.e., long the underlying. The 13F would just show 5M long puts, incorrectly implying a massive short position.

This is the world's smartest bug bounty... Shoutout to @vultisig 🫡. Put $1M of your treasury into a honeypot and let DPRK try to get to it. PS: @jpthor you should stake the ETH.

@antoniogm @kaledora On top of that, crypto vol makes options super expensive. How do you even price the option of a 1-day old meme coin? Does anyone want to take the other side of that? Perps are delta 1, which makes it 10x easier to calculate P&L, assess risk, etc.

@antoniogm @kaledora Options have extra complexity (strike, duration) that make it harder for retail folks to make markets / provide LP, hedge risk, and understand pricing. It also results in really bad UX. There's a trail of dead DeFi protocols that back this up - Opyn, Katana, Stryke, Hegic, etc.

One of the Great Crypto Mysteries (to me) is why perps (perpetual futures) took off as the leveraged way to take delta risk, rather than options (which dominate traditional equities). If equity perps take off with onchain equity underliers, the mystery deepens.
Ryan Watkins@RyanWatkins_

Global equity perps might be the single biggest growth opportunity in crypto over the next 12 - 18 months aside from stablecoins. All the hottest assets, available anywhere in the world, with programmatic leverage, accessible on a smartphone.

@TakoTreba Niccol isn't doing that well... Since euphoria, stock is down (missed expectations in Q3) and, from the outside, things look like they're getting worse. cnn.com/2025/09/26/bus…

Just read that Starbucks lost $30B after hiring a McKinsey consultant as CEO. Guy spent his career advising founders how to build companies, but never built one himself. 17 months later, he’s gone. They bring in the Taco Bell CEO… and the market cap jumps $20B overnight. Turns out running a company is harder than advising one.
