@stevodarkly @MbarkCherguia That’s just it. You assume and have already made up your mind. However, whether or not the cop had grounds to arrest him, once he went to arrest him, the man should have submitted. Now if nothing else he is guilty of resisting arrest.

The fact is, at least with me and the folks I know, there are literally zero racial epithets that bother white people. You can call us crackers, white trash, honkies, bilagaana, haole... we really don't care. We're comfortable with it.
To insult us you have to do something personal like say I'm stupid or a liar or whatever. But a racial epithet is nothing.

This is Asia Bibi, a Pakistani Christian woman who spent 8 years on death row after being accused of “blasphemy” for drinking water from a Muslim’s cup. Asia was working in the fields with her Muslim coworkers. She got thirsty and went to fetch water from the well, where she took a drink with an old metal cup she had found. This is all it took. Christians are considered dirty and impure in Islam, and she was accused of attempting to contaminate the Muslims’ water just by drinking from their cup. She was sentenced to death by hanging. The governor of her province voiced opposition to the verdict and was assassinated by his own bodyguard. When she was finally acquitted in 2018 due to international pressure, tens of thousands of Muslims rioted, demanding her immediate execution. A local poll found that 10 MILLION Pakistanis would personally kill her if given the chance. Just for drinking water from a cup. Her lawyer had to flee the country. And after months in hiding, she was finally able to escape Pakistan and received asylum in Canada. This is Sharia-ruled Pakistan, where non-Muslims live under the constant threat of death. The more I learn about this country, the more it just feels like ISIS with a formal government.

There are so many layers to this. These people probably largely support Islam in Palestine so it’s funny to see them have to confront reality.
But on the flip side I have noted several times that right-wing Christian’s will eventually welcome Islam because they’ll realize they all support the same kind of bigotry.

@bigunc1_ @realMaalouf Ok I looked at about a dozen posts. I did find one that was not factually true and I commented pointing that out. The others I saw were either true, or opinions based on an actual behavior. That isn’t to say more might not be true, but I only found one in the ones I looked at.

@bigunc1_ @realMaalouf To be clear my interest isn’t politics, religion, race, or sex. I am only concerned with the truth (at least as well as it can be determined). No one race, sex, religion, nationality or whatever is either all good or all bad. Even individuals are not either all good or all bad.
