The new Community Hub at Ernest Harris House on Elgin Avenue is looking good. It opens in a couple of weeks in long-vacant basement and is a great example of @CityWestminster investing in our neighbourhood.

The beautiful cafe at the Ernest Harriss House community hub on Elgin Avenue! Coffee costs £2 but they ask you to pay more if you can afford to. Free community lunches on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12.30.

@oharaviolin I've always liked this album and a band or band leader prepared to do something else, pushing the boundaries although that's not a saying I like.

@w9maidavale @CityWestminster Dear Geoff, it would be great if we could get a statue of Joe Strummer here It would make the area a real destination point and bring in a lot of tourists. If you don't know he lived on Walterton Road and played in the local pubs.
