The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.

The threats are real, they want to kill. Here is the truth about the "radicalized": right now a small group of Americans have become and are becoming radicalized. This is a major problem, heres why: Say 1% of the US is "radicalized" that is ~3 million people. 0.5% is 1.5 million, 0.1% is 300,000 people. You currently have a large army of people who want to kill their “opposition” For years now people and elected officials have falsely called their opposition Nazis and fascists - now enough people believe it to the point where they are killing. Political violence is at a high and those that yell those lies are in office. The war between good and evil has never been so obvious.

Guys, I’m an idiot. All this time I’ve spent trying not to die, I had toxic turf in my backyard. Artificial turf contains crumb rubber infill made from recycled tires, which leaches chemicals including PFAS, heavy metals, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. These compounds are linked to hormone disruption, carcinogenicity, and systemic inflammation. I don’t know how I missed it. It makes me question my basic competence in life. What gets me is that I try so hard to survey the world of potential idiocy. Then I find out there’s a monument to idiocy sitting right in front of my face that I was blind to. I’m removing the turf, yet I’m still stuck with this seemingly unsolvable problem of how to not be an idiot.

@FrenchOG3 What’s entertaining is when after you’re married you get your shit together, hit the gym, grow a backbone at home and career and go from a 5/10 to a 9/10 and she freaks the fuck out because suddenly her comfort optimization get’s flipped on its head. It can work…often doesn’t.

Don't underestimate the number of women who will go with a guy who is not (too) hot past a certain age, more out of their insecurity rather than out of real appreciation for you, through a disguised control incentive. They will feel that they are doing you a favour and will act accordingly. Some will even get fatter because that is how comfortable she is in appreciating how above you she feels. The boyfriend or husband material is more about comfort and control-driven, heavy choice than anything else, rather than one driven by desire. You may say you don't really care about why she is with you, but that will ripple into how she treats you. She will be more cavalier in how she behaves (her getting fat will be a visual example), your boundaries will be tested much more, to say the least, and she will be less cooperative overall because, subconsciously, she does not see you as fit, since your purpose was originally to fit one of her life checkpoints, under her modalities.
