i used to walk out of my apartment in crown heights, brooklyn and feel drained before the day even started. fried chicken spot. bodega. liquor store. concrete as far as you could see. now i walk out in frisco and there are rabbits in the grass and turtles in the pond. people underestimate how much your environment is quietly programming your behavior. you don't need more willpower. you might just need different surroundings.

The majority of the No Kings protests have dispersed at this time and all traffic closures have been lifted.  We had more than 100,000 people across all five boroughs peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and the NYPD made zero protest-related arrests.
