An update here in case it helps anyone else with sleep apnea:
I got a custom oral appliance built (like a dental retainer that you sleep with) and my symptoms are at least 95% better
Huge quality of life upgrade

Just got diagnosed with moderate to severe sleep apnea Would love to know anyone that has successfully cured this with lifestyle interventions etc. No overweight / general metrics and health pretty good, would not have noticed this if not for a test at a longevity clinic

.@travisk says AI will make human labor even more valuable and in-demand than ever before:
"Let's say the entire world - everything in our world - was automated, except for plumbers. You had machines making buildings - you would basically have like a thousand buildings a day."
"How valuable would those plumbers be?"
"Each and every plumber would be like LeBron. Why? Because plumbing would be the long pole in the tent to progress. You can't get those thousand buildings unless you have a plumber."
"And by the way, you'd get so much efficiency everywhere else that you'd need millions of plumbers."
"Humans [are going to] become more and more valuable because they will be the long pole in the tent to progress - and that progress is going to accelerate and get faster and more robust."

$META
I google searched prior mass layoffs and the impact it had on the stock.
March 2023: +17% next several days after announcement.
January 2025: +23% next several days after announcement. If you recall this was when the stock went on a rediculous 20 straight green day record.
I would be shocked if we didn’t see some green next week on this fresh batch of layoff news a few hrs ago…

A nuclear armed Iran is not a military threat to the United States.
The Soviet Union's vast arsenal of nuclear weapons did not prevent internal collapse. Nor did the Soviets ever figure out a way to use nuclear weapons to spread world revolution.
The hysteria around atomic weapons today is simply a propaganda tactic to drag the American taxpayer into endless geopolitical conflicts. We should avoid that trap.

It appears the post I shared with my comment on a group dancing in Dallas on a quiet snow day has upset some people, particularly a section of Indians. I have no problem if they did what they did in their backyards. Regardless, I will take this opportunity to express how I feel about what's going on, not just in the US or Canada, but all over the world. There's a growing resentment against Indians, and we must be honest and accept that we're largely responsible for this, and our actions have led to this situation. It's time we acknowledge, take full responsibility, and do whatever it takes to fix this.
In today’s world, globalization has paved roads that didn't exist 50 years ago. Opportunities that were once, once-in-a-lifetime dreams are now accessible to a vast majority of Indians. However, the ease with which we can now move across borders and settle in new lands with promising opportunities should not breed a sense of entitlement. Just because it is easier to go anywhere today doesn't mean we owe nothing to the spaces we occupy or the reputation we carry. In fact, this mobility must increase our responsibility. We shoulder the image of India; imagine how powerful it would be if we all became model global ambassadors for Brand India.
No matter where you choose to make your new home or where you go from—be it Andhra or Tamil Nadu, Gujarat or Delhi—it doesn't matter. If you are from India or have Indian roots, you represent Brand India.
Outside of India, you are a minority. Your public behavior—whether respectful or uncivil—directly impacts the reputation of every other Indian in that country, including the next generation, your own children and grand children.
You don’t need to shed your Indian identity to live abroad. However, being Indian' shouldn't mean being "noisy." Celebrating our culture is vital, but disrupting public order is not.
You do not need to fully assimilate if you choose not to, but you must maintain a high degree of civic decorum. Your actions do not exist in a vacuum; they affect the reputation of the entire Indian community, including your own family.
We all come from an ancient civilization of over 5000 years. Remember, we are among the only 4-5 countries on the planet where civilization began over 5,000 years ago. When we act in an uncivilized manner in public spaces, we fail the legacy of our ancestors who were pioneers of culture and order millennia ago.
Please carry our pride with grace and with utmost responsibility shoulder the weight of Brand India.
