In the next decade, over 1M Chinese communists will be able to vote in American elections. You heard me. Thanks to birth tourism, Chinese billionaires are paying surrogates to birth their children on U.S. soil so the babies are American citizens. The children are taken back to China after birth, raised as communists, then when they’re 18, they’re allowed to vote in U.S. elections. THAT is why birthright citizenship must end. 1M votes swings any election. Soon the Chinese communists will “legally” control our elections. Unless we end birthright citizenship.

@C_3C_3 We've been a country for 250 years. The to follow suit with most every other major nation. "Jus Sanguinis" The nationality of the parents determines the nationality of the child. Japan, Germany, France, Italy, China, Russia, South Korea all follow it and the list goes on.

This is getting real. This isn’t some fringe blog post, this is Randy E. Barnett, a Georgetown Law professor, former prosecutor, and one of the leading originalist scholars in the country. They actually believe this. Which raises a bigger question: Will future Supreme Court nominees be vetted on this exact interpretation of the 14th Amendment? Because that’s how you change the Constitution without amending it.

Does Ketanji Brown Jackson not understand that dozens of other nations do not have "birthright citizenship"? Your citizenship would be determined by your parents. If you have one or more parents who are citizens or legal long-term permanent residents of this country, you would be a citizen too.

my prediction, subject to revision after hearing the arguments today: 9-0 against the administration on statutory grounds, with maybe Alito saying that the administration's interpretation isn't necessarily unconstitutional.

The reason birthright citizenship was not carefully studied before now is because Biden mass-imported 20 million illegals. The Supreme Court justices know this. Will they have the courage to follow the law? Or will they play their cowardly games?
