Lots of people's social & romantic lives could be vastly improved if it was normal for young adults to live in college dorm-style accommodation in city centres until they were ready to set up home properly. Why doesn't this exist? I think there would be a market for it!

Club West/Sycamore would have earned a lot more respect had it just quietly opened or donated proceeds to a youth services npc.

Measure RR, a voter approved investment into BART’s capital budget, has allowed BART to replace 50 year old infrastructure. We replaced our entire legacy fleet thanks to federal, state and local money such as bridge tolls (which BTW can’t be used to run service.) We also replaced all 700+ fare gates. The new gates are bringing in $10M annually of new revenue. It takes time to get these projects fully funded. Applying for grants and advocating for investments takes determination and project prioritization. We have many needs and limited sources of funding pots.

I know the head of NBC's Gold Zone and that group 100 percent is monitoring social media -- and particularly this site — as a large scale focus group. They made some tweaks in Paris on the fly given feedback so they will read if you mention Gold Zone.
