#HFinductiontherapy is as important as cancer induction chemotherapy- HF is as deadly as cancer is and HF GDMT improve outcomes. Initiate quadruple HF therapies as induction therapy and then consider add-on therapies as consolidation therapy in HFrEF. jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.…

Smoking kills- through heart attacks, strokes, emphysema, and cancer. So we encourage patients to quit cigarettes. Handgun ownership dramatically increases the risk of dying by suicide. So why don’t we encourage patients to quit handguns?
