Wow! Amazing charge @ElectrifyAm Walterboro SC. Shocked me. Lots of snowbirds in the parking lot headed back to Canada. #ChargeOn

Has nobody at Tesla Charging noticed that the entirety of I-90 in South Dakota is still 120kW and 150kW Superchargers? Unusual.

Range anxiety is def still around. Kids have a field trip just 65 miles away. Charged the X to 100%, but it still took 52% of the battery, because it's cold and rainy. 65 miles. "You don't need 500 miles of range." Well how about 200 winter miles then after battery degradation, weather, and freeway speeds tax the rated mileage.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE RENTAL HORROR STORY: My uncle was just telling me how he recently flew to Phoenix to visit his parents and do some sightseeing and when he got to the rental agency, they told him the only vehicles they had available were electric. He was very upfront, he absolutely did not want an electric vehicle. They were sightseeing through Arizona up to Zion national Park and as they have never driven an electric vehicle before, they didn’t want to figure it out on this trip. The rental agency said there was nothing they could do for them, but not to worry, there is a charging station at every Walmart. So what did they do? The first thing they did was go to the nearest Walmart as they gave them the vehicle with just a 46% charge. Well guess what? There was no charger at the nearest Walmart. They said they drove around for 45 minutes looking for a charger before they finally found one. They said it took them 25 minutes to charge to 85% and it cost them over $26. He was very much done with that and didn’t want to figure out how to do this for the remainder of the trip. He was very fortunate and was able to trade his parents for their gas vehicle for the week. As a huge advocate of electric vehicles… I completely understand my uncles frustration. This is the WORST use case and he will now likely never consider buying one even though he could save tons of money as he drives a lot for his day job.

We have a queue lined up to use the 50kW ChargePoint when there’s a 60 stall Supercharger here that both of these cars support 🤔

I get that you need to monetize what you’ve built—but at $900/month if that is the price, this doesn’t feel like a tool meant to help people get ahead. It feels like a tool for people who are already ahead to widen the gap even more. It’s frustrating because this is exactly how things keep playing out—those with money get access to better tools, better opportunities, and pull even further ahead, while everyone else is stuck watching from the sidelines. Hard not to see this as another “rich get richer” setup, whether that’s the intention or not.

If you joined the Blademap.Ai waitlist = you get the link to join Blademap a few hours earlier than everyone else There is a HIGH chance all Blademap spots sell out to our waitlist before we even get to post a public release link. I would join the waitlist if you aren’t already on it !
