This isn’t a spoiler but there’s a moment early on in Scream 7 where Sidney’s daughter comes downstairs wearing her mom’s leather jacket and it plays it with the reverence of if she’d come in wearing Indiana Jones’s fedora. Like we’re supposed to remember some nondescript jacket

Traumatic childhood flashback to Tom & Jerry: The Movie (1992). One of the most bullshit movies of all time. Within five minutes, Tom and Jerry discover they each can talk (?), and they team up to spend the rest of the movie helping some orphan. AWFUL!!!!!!!!!

Anyways yeah this is one of the worst listicles to come around in a while and provides very little — and mostly contradictory — context around its selections

People freaking the fuck put about this list don’t seem to acknowledge the title is “BEST” implying intense subjectivity — however, Time then says in the byline they consider these the “most influential” so I guess they shot themselves in the foot there. That said, (1/3)

Not including Joe Rogan on here makes sense in that the show is boring as hell but also more influential than most of this list combined (extremely unfortunate obviously)… so a bit of a coward move on Time’s part but most cowardly in that they refused to print the words Cum Town

@CodyLeachYT I loved how the movie subverted expectations and I found the climax really devastating, and I love how the third act kind of acted as an inverse of the first act’s themes. That said, I can totally understand why it wouldn’t work for everyone! It’s a big swing.

#28YearsLater was my most anticipated movie of the year. Now it’s destined to be my most disappointing film of the year. The filmmaking and acting is too good for me to say it’s a bad film but I’m truly baffled at some of the choices made. This is NOT what I’ve been waiting for…
