This is Natabi Fauzia, who we fondly call Maama Kyeyune — the wife of my Personal Assistant 𝐃𝐨𝐧 Sheriff Najja. She was abducted on 12th March 2026 when the military raided her home looking for me, and since that day she has never been seen again. It is now 17 days and she remains missing. This entire incident was captured on video as armed men dressed in UPDF uniforms shoved her into a waiting ‘drone’ and drove away. To date, neither the Uganda Police nor the UPDF has come forward to explain who these individuals were or where she was taken. Since her abduction, we have taken every lawful step to secure her release or at least establish her whereabouts: 1. The matter was immediately reported to the relevant security authorities, but no clear answers have been provided to date — neither do they even acknowledge or address the incident. 2. Formal complaints have been filed with various human rights organizations and stakeholders, and continuous follow-ups have been made, but all yielding no meaningful response. 3. Legal action has been initiated, including efforts to compel authorities to produce her in court and account for her disappearance. The application is set to be heard on 1st April 2026 at 8:00 AM in the High Court at Kampala. Despite all these efforts, Maama Kyeyune remains missing. Her family continues to endure immense emotional pain as they wait for any information regarding her safety. We demand her immediate and unconditional release or, at the very least, that she be presented before a competent court of law to answer whatever charges her abductors may have against her. No family deserves to go through this. No citizen should disappear without explanation. #WhereIsMaamaKyeyune

@amronaldo, your attack on Kyagulanyi is too biased. Kyagulanyi does not have to present proof of the election results. The Uganda Electoral Commission @UgandaEC was and is required by law to publish DR forms and tally sheets for all polling stations. Has it done so? And why not?
Ronald Amanyire@amronaldo

You did not beat Museveni. If you had, your youth‑majority base would have poured into the streets somewhere—if not in Kampala, then in Jinja, Mbale, Gulu, Mbarara, anywhere. A genuine national victory produces visible national energy, not silence. You did not beat Museveni if you cannot produce even a bit of solid data from at least one of the 146 districts. Just one. Show the numbers. Show the forms. Show the tally sheets. How many Woman Representatives does NUP have as MPs‑elect? Where is the evidence? So far, the only claim I’ve seen is that “more people voted for Museveni at his own polling station”—yet even that comes with no proof. You did not beat Museveni because it is foolhardy to believe that with all the innovation, passion, and digital mobilization you command in Kampala, you somehow failed to secure even a single verifiable district‑level dataset. Passion alone is not victory. Claims without evidence are not victory. Silence where numbers should be is not victory. You did not beat Museveni. And until you can demonstrate otherwise with real data—not emotion, not slogans, not assumptions—you are simply repeating a story you cannot defend. Better return to Uganda as is your right and stop promising to come back endlessly. It is becoming a hollow promise.

Please @adoniaayebare, in your knowledge about the constitution of Uganda, educate me on this; Was it a constitutional requirement for the Uganda Electoral Commission @UgandaEC to publish the DR forms and tally sheets for the 15 Jan 2026 presidential election?
Adonia Ayebare@adoniaayebare

This is a publicity stunt rather than a substantive engagement , anyone can engage people at the Hill. If the Uganda government was interested in blocking your travels they would have issued an Interpol red notice. You're free to return home as you have yourself stated publicly and address what ever grievances you have. Your handlers like @Smith_JeffreyT will struggle to deliver because Uganda stands out as a beacon of hope in the current geopolitical environment .@mkainerugaba @Tom_Magambo

Dear @MigunaMiguna, leaders with mindset like yours make my heart sick. African gvts thrive on grants from what you call imperialists. Funds they embezzle and use to commit human rights violations. Why wouldn't citizens who want to stand up against these gvts seek foreign help?
Dr. Miguna Miguna@MigunaMiguna

The wrong place to start and pose for images. Washington DC is the headquarters of imperialism, genocide, war crimes and human rights violations. No legitimate Pan-African or Freedom Fighter takes pride in the that citadel of slavery and savagery.

@drstellanyanzi @drstellanyanzi, it's right to express one's anger. My only advise is that in doing so leave some room knowing there may be a tomorrow that you don't know what it holds. I doubt whether at that level your PPF president feels confident in you

Thanks Mama. Actually advise them to first host Byabakama and ask him where the DR forms are. @nbstv, personally I stopped watching you from the time of martyrs day bombing. Go make right your sins!
Lina Zedriga Waru@linazed2

I appreciate the invitation to be hosted at NBS Morning Breeze. Unfortunately, urgent party duties requiring my physical presence mean I must withdraw from the scheduled discussion. My sincere apologies, and I remain open to a later engagement.

It is bizarre how @HEBobiwine ‘s cult of empty-brained followers shut their brains and sweetly swallow whatever shit he dishes out. Observing their dogmatic belief which allows neither questioning nor sifting through his gymnastics, I am glad my head resisted his leadership many years ago. So, Bobi Wine posted videos in English and Luganda accompanied with text explaining his departure from Uganda. His cult of empty-brained followers swallowed the message whole without thought. Previously, they shamed all exiles and called us deserters of Uganda’s liberation struggle. But now that Bobi claims to have fled from Uganda, the cult of empty-brained followers is praising exile as an opportunity from which to continue the same struggle from abroad. Double standards, just! Yesterday, this cult of Bobi Wine’s empty-brained followers insulted me because of my post highlighting their hypocrisy. While thinking through their loud brainless praises of Bobi’s claims of fleeing, I began to question the veracity of the very claim. What if Bobi Wine is still in Uganda? What if his pursuers are dangerously closing in on him, and in order to dissuade them from his trail, he lied Ugandans that he fled from the country? What if Bobi Wine is still hiding in Mbarara or Mbale? What if Bobi Wine is, indeed, a liar? See? Ka-blaza cannot be my leader because I refuse to “just shut my brain and open my mouth” like his empty-brained followers do. Bobi Wine can never lead me because I think for myself. Period.

@job_matua, this the reason as to why the EC had to comply to the law to the dot, including publishing the DR forms. Less of that your claim and that of Kyagulanyi equally don't make sense. But given EC is run by Gov't you'r more of a liar than Kyagulanyi!
Richard Job Matua, MJR@job_matua

President @KagutaMuseveni won decisively in Arua City with 71.94% and in West Nile with 80.65% and won in everything Northern Uganda, Eastern Uganda and Western Uganda plus many districts in Buganda. Deceive yourself and your naive followers. Uganda is moving forward.

@emmanuel_dombo an OB of Bukedi College Kachonga, a school that is dying out yet you are it's neighbor! Remember the words of Justice Mulyagonja Irene while she was the IGG, in her efforts to fight corruption she said 'when we chase corrupt thieves, they end up in state house'
Emmanuel Lumala Dombo@emmanuel_dombo

As a senior citzen in Uganda, why dont you find time and you meet your colleague @KagutaMuseveni and you raise this, and other matters that you may have. Let us always find time for constructive engagement, like you used to do as the head of The Monitor?

Sometimes you genuinely try to hold some sympathy for NUP, but then statements like this come out and completely drain whatever optimism was left. Calling silence a form of protest vote is not just confusing—it’s intellectually unserious. We’ve heard the phrase “silent majority” for years. Were those people also protesting? Were the ones who didn’t show up to vote on January 15th also staging some grand act of resistance? How exactly is silence supposed to deliver the change you claim to be fighting for? This is the same question I asked before voting: what on earth is a protest vote? Are you voting to win, or voting to protest? And if the intention is to protest, what happens if you actually get more votes—do you continue protesting and refuse to take up the responsibility of governing? At this point, even your most reasonable supporters must be wondering what message you’re trying to send. People move on quickly. Those who were heartbroken by the loss—and who might have been ready to take to the streets—have already returned to their offices and businesses to earn a living and school fees for their children. Life has resumed. This election cycle is over. And if NUP isn’t careful, it might also be overtaken by events, especially after @MathiasMpuuga Mpuuga’s loss. He now has both the time and the capacity to build a formidable political force of his own for 2031.
