@KirillTalai @WatcherGuru @paoloardoino On device inference will never happen without architectural breakthroughs. Especially on larger models you simply need to have the capacity or it doesn't work. its like trying to hold an ocean of water in a 6 Oz cup. Of you can run inference, it'll be slow as shit

@WatcherGuru @paoloardoino Tether made $13B in profit last year from treasuries alone. They have more cash to throw at AI R&D than most Series B startups raise total. If they crack on-device inference for financial applications, stablecoins become the payment rail AND the intelligence layer.

@sama If the same terms you guys got were the exact same terms Anthropic were asking for (no mass surveillance and autonomous weapons) then why didn’t they sign with Anthropic?

Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network. In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome. AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement. We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only. We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements. We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

My 2026 Bull Run prediction: February → Bear trap March → Bitcoin breakout April → Altcoin season May → New ATH around $215K June → Bull trap July → Liquidation cascade August → Bear market kicks in Keep in mind: I’ve called every major market top and bottom for over 10 YEARS. I was one of the only people who called the top in October, and I’ll do it again, that’s literally my job. If you still haven’t followed me, you’ll regret it.

The 2025 tax year marks a big shift in how the IRS views digital assets, with the new Form 1099-DA. And we believe some aspects of the new reporting rules go too far. For the first time, the IRS is requiring custodial brokers, like Coinbase, to report customer proceeds from crypto transactions with a new Form 1099-DA. For the 2025 tax year, it’s required to include: - Gross proceeds from all reportable sales or exchanges - Aggregated reporting for certain stablecoin transactions - Transactions including small-value sales, such as gas fees These reporting requirements are set by the IRS and apply across the crypto industry. At Coinbase, our position is clear: we’re committed to advocating for common-sense rules while providing you with the tools to stay compliant. Requiring 1099-DA forms for stablecoins, assets designed to track the dollar with no gain or loss, creates a mountain of paperwork for zero tax revenue. We continue to advocate for a de minimis threshold on crypto sales. Reporting a $5 gas fee or a coffee purchase is an admin burden that provides little benefit to the Treasury and stifles the utility of the digital economy. We comply with the law, but we will not over-deliver data to the government. Coinbase has started delivering tax documents, with all forms to be delivered by March 17.

Next time you feel bad for missing something that mooned Imagine being SBF: - Put $500m into Anthropic, which would now be worth $70b. - Held $60m in $SOL at $8 that would've been worth $2.1b at the top. - Put $100m into Mysten Labs that would now be worth over $800m. - Invested in Robinhood and held a 7.5% stake that would now be worth $10b. Instead, everything got seized before they went up, and he missed out on $80b in profits 😭

Epstein used World of Warcraft gold to move money without getting traced. Back in 2007, Bannon was “coincidentally” running a Chinese company that sold in-game gold for real cash. After a few trades, good luck tracking where the money came from!

Even Pfizer was tied to Epstein?! In 2013, while still a registered sex offender, Epstein got a private invite list marked “just for your info.” On it: JPMorgan’s CEO, Canada’s development minister, top global officials… and Caroline Roan, then president of the Pfizer Foundation!

Genuine question @AlexFinn, Your MacStudio still runs Opus via API as the brain, right? You said yourself Henry uses "Opus as its brain and local models as employees." So the $10K MacStudio doesn't replace the $300-750/month API bill. It adds to it without adding value. Doesn't it? A $599 Mac Mini or even a $5/month VPS runs the OpenClaw gateway just fine. The intelligence comes from the API, not the hardware. The local models on you MacStudio handle what exactly basic triage tasks that a 13B model on a Mac Mini could do equally well? What am I missing? What other use case is there. I get the content angle: A Mac Studio "data center" makes a great video. But from a pure architecture standpoint, you're spending $10K on a machine whose main job is forwarding messages to Anthropic's servers. Apologies and please correct me if I'm wrong here. That is the understanding I got from your last post. If there's anything on features and functionality that I don't see yet here. I love your post and your insights.

FORMER NYC MAYOR JUST RUGPULLED 🚨 Eric Adams, former NYC mayor, launched his own $NYC memecoin. The coin immediately hit $500 million in the market cap before Eric withdrew liquidity from the coin. This caused a massive 80% crash, and the token went below $100 million. As per some estimates, Eric made nearly $3.5 million from this scam memecoin. This is the biggest reason people have stopped taking our industry seriously.
