The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

Yesterday, white supremacist Jake Lang organized a protest outside Gracie Mansion rooted in bigotry and racism. Such hate has no place in New York City. It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are. What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are. I want to thank the brave men and women of the NYPD who acted quickly to keep New Yorkers safe. Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day. My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner.

Based upon this exchange, the @SECGov reached-out to my office to inform me that this is currently under investigation. I proudly joined my colleagues in demanding MMTLP transparency back in 2023 and I thank the Trump admin–SEC for fighting to ensure that this issue is resolved. We will continue to monitor the situation.

I’m a big fan of #scrubs and there is something off about the revival. You can tell they are on a set and not in a hospital anymore and the biggest issue I think is not enough background noise. @zachbraff this should be an easy fix.
