@YouTubeInsider @travelandfish This feature was added for me but gladly it got taken away. I understand the idea, but its really inconvient in practice. Maybe having a username but the ability to include Capitals etc & not having the @ symbol appear in the chat.

@travelandfish Hi! Handles are unique per channel, unlike channel names where many channels can have the same one. The hope is this will help everyone better understand who they’re engaging with across YouTube. If you have any more feedback, please let me know!

Youtube, what the heck is up with the new changes in Live Chats? Replacing people's Handles with their @'s is ridiculous. It makes interacting with viewers in chat extremely difficult. Can't even decipher who paid channel members are anymore. Furthermore it looks absolutely awful. Please explain the logic @nealmohan @YouTubeInsider @YouTubeCreators @YouTube

@xPrayZ @BigGaming64 the only thing i can think about is, lower ctr from audiences that are only specifically watching streams. I.e they dont click on videos, so it damages the ctr

@BigGaming64 I don’t think so.. I’ve only recently been doing lives on YT and haven’t found this to be the case I don’t think!

@StreamElements would love the ability to be able to have sub points as a widget rather than sub number (twitch) As the counter is off due to Tier 2/3's counting as more points
