@DeeperThrill the funniest type of guy like this is the one that has always wanted to do X techy thing but never had the skills and now knows that AI enables them to finally do it and they still don't

Most people I know irl through my family and friends just shrug and ask why they’d need AI, they can write their own emails just fine. No spark, no curiosity, no drive to go down rabbit holes of knowledge, in inkling to create cool stuff. Just a smug shrug.

If all of America’s data centers closed tomorrow, our economy would grind to a halt. There’d be millions of people unemployed, and our GDP would drop by 50%. All cell phones and internet services would stop working. Our national security would be obliterated. Millions of people wouldn’t be able to do their jobs at all. Sick patients would be given the wrong medications. The economic fallout would be far worse than even the great depression. If all of America’s golf courses closed tomorrow, there would be virtually no impact on society at all. 90% of Americans probably wouldn’t even notice.

This is an amazing Codex tip. Works even better when paired with persistent Codex memory files in Obsidian. Gave me 8 recommended skills relevant to active projects. Do try this!
jason@jxnlco

If you're using Codex, you might not know about this repo `openai/skills` if codex is open right now just ask codex `take a look at skills installer, what are some skills I should install` and it'll know how to scan this repo for skills and install the ones you need

apparently my team spent an hour going back and forth if we should push an urgent fix today (a Friday) bc they dont want to risk a bad push on a “long weekend”. me, a chad, didnt go to their stupid meeting and instead just wrote the fix and pushed it to prod. and I will fix it if something breaks BECAUSE THATS MY FUCKING JOB. god corporate people are insufferable.

How is it even possible that a company like Meta for example lays off thousands of employees and the day to day business is not affected? Very weird dynamics in those huge tech companies

This sucks. America should welcome greatness. Builders, innovators, and creators should have a fast path to citizenship. I can’t fathom why we would make life harder for founders starting billion dollar companies that want to anchor themselves in the US.
Homeland Security@DHSgov

An alien who is in the U.S. temporarily and wants a Green Card must return to their home country to apply. This policy allows our immigration system to function as the law intended instead of incentivizing loopholes. The era of abusing our nation’s immigration system is over.

Oh my god you don’t just use the items once, and you don’t have to buy $12 mayonnaise. I started out defending these people but, you know what? They deserve whatever it is that’s happening to them.

DoorDash is simultaneously a human right after being founded just 13 years ago AND its founders are unethical evil people bc their DoorDash stock is now worth over a billion dollars. yes this makes sense.

This is bc they do not have the time or capacity to create home cooked meals. It’s an issue countless ppl have tried to raise w leftists but big leftists online continue to shame/abuse poor ppl for being forced to rely on these services for meals, which act as a tax on the poor
