Well here is some bad news. This feature may only be for Highland Model 3 and the upcoming Model Y… The reason may be because the older matrix lights meet ROW standard and not the new US standard. And it’s highly unlikely that they will ever be activated. When it comes to matrix LED light standards, there is a US standard and a ROW standard. Don’t worry as other car manufactures are in the same boat, however people have hacked their cars and enabled the ROW standard in the US… It is what it is. newsweek.com/nhtsa-roadbloc…

Newly released @Tesla Model 3 Highland has a camera button on the redesigned steering wheel. Possibly a dashcam button? Maybe to bring camera display up? Or even better, maybe show the new front bumper camera? @elonmusk

@mars_play Nowadays beta code is in all modern firmwares, so you don't even need to do anything special beyond a simple gps spoofing attack. In the past when it was separate you had to play a bit more tricks.

Well, I've seen my share of stupid autopilot tricks people have been playing, but this is right there in Darwin award territory I suspect. CanBus-injection to make (parts of) the car think it's in park to allow Theater use, while on autopilot? losing some control ability?

Chez vous aussi le planificateur Tesla est aux choux ? Je pars d'un SC, estimé 18% à l'arrivée, je roule 30min et là il m'indique -1% à l'arrivée ! Je continue mon trajet et l'estimation remonte au fil des km, je finis à 11% à destination. Ça ne faisait pas ça l'an dernier.

@Krishell1985 @Teslarati @ResidentSponge As a European, I don't start driving with ice or snow covering my windshield. Safety 101. If you have snow on your windshield so that cameras don't see anything, AEB should be the least of your concerns, and generally camera and cabin heat clears it up in just a few minutes.

@Teslarati @ResidentSponge As a European. Teslas automatic emergency braking don't work in the winter. Heating elements don't reach the part of the wipers cleaning the camera. Applaus for that flaw...

@xplodwild Une entreprise choisit où elle s’implante et dans quelles conditions. Et on peut aussi aller faire un tour du côté des conditions de travail chez Tesla aux Etats-Unis, où le syndicalisme est interdit.

En Chine, les ouvriers de Tesla sont obligés de dormir à l'usine. A San Francisco, les salariés de Twitter ont vu des lits surgir au bureau. Le management "extrêmement hardcore" selon Musk. bbc.com/news/technolog…
