Why is it wrong to feed stray dogs ? Starvation is nature's way of keeping any species' population in check. Feeding stray dogs raises its survival rate. They attract mates from longer distances and pop out more often because they zero reasons to scatter. Why won't ABC fix the problem ? You need to sterilise 70% of dogs ( costing 4,000 crores + capacity) within 3 months. Even missing 10% will make it ineffective and you need to keep it for 3 years. Where does the government have that kind of budget? Incessant culling is way cheaper. The stray dog feeders must stop messing with nature. They must respect nature. Nature knows how to give food to everyone. They are harming the environment and ecological balance. Why should tax payers spend 10k crores when it has other important priorities ?
