@ziningih @lufthansa I’ve faced the same thing from London to CPT. Lufthansa’s customer service team said you are not eligible however my lawyers have read the regulation and stated that you are eligible for £520 compensation due to the distance and goodwill of more. This is appalling

Can someone explain this to me pls. According to UK Regulations 261, passengers in the UK should b compensated for flight cancellations.It applies to flights departing from the UK or arriving via UK/EU airlines. My @lufthansa from Cpt to Frankfurt got cancelled after 4hrs

I reached out to @lufthansa for compensation & it was denied. Are they not an EU airline?! Was my flight not to the UK/EU( Frankfurt then London)?! Was my flight not cancelled after more than 3hrs?!

@ziningih Hi Ziningi. I am sorry you're having problems with the refund for your son's ticket. If you are not named on his booking as a passenger or the cardholder, then the staff are correct in advising they can't speak to you for data protection reasons. Neil

want to experience bad customer service then call @British_Airways . They claim they paid out my full refund for my 21mnth old son’s ticket in Jan. My bank statements say otherwise. Customer service says they can’t help me because I’m not the authorised person on the booking

@L18934881 @British_Airways Exactly! And my issue is your staff acknowledged for weeks that I was the authorised person UNTIL I queried my refund. Then suddenly I was told I wasn’t anymore.

explain to me @British_Airways how you cancel my ticket &give me a full refund but my 21mnth old son’s(who I booked a seat for) ticket was not cancelled & you won’t give me a full refund for his ticket. Called ur customer care line & was told I’m not the authorised person

@TheKiffness Agreed! But I definitely don’t think it’s as easy as getting rid of the ANC and EFF. There is unfortunately no political party in South Africa that truly has the best interests of all South Africans in mind.
