A small step for a hobby logic designer, but a giant leap for @tinytapeout. The first official RISC-V uLinux ASIC, yes, ASIC, you heard that right, is operational and functional. Just dabbling in chip design as a hobbyist. Haha, what an awesome achievement! Thanx to @matthewvenn @UriShaked @tnt4all Rebellmike troyburn @PsychogenicTech #tinytapeout #chipdesign #verilog #130nm #Skywater #yosys #openlane @WokwiMakes #logicDesign #logicDestroyer

@moarbugs Not a pl educator, but learning C first and dealing with the pain of segfaults will make you appreciate Rust more. I think that's invaluable when learning Rust

@graham025 @eigenrobot this isn’t really true. most characters have some phonetic component.

@graham025 @eigenrobot Chinese characters are actually very phonetic

The most interesting thing I’ve learned about Chinese-type character writing is that being non-phonetic is a feature, and that’s fundamentally inherent
You do not have to speak Han Chinese to understand what it says. The characters will mean the same thing no matter what language you speak. There are no dialects.
It’s a universal writing system, yet not really a verbal language put to paper. Strange stuff

ig assuming it means the boxes are **all** labeled incorrectly, there are only 2 3-cycles in S_3, namely (123) and (132). So pick from the box labeled apple/orange, and you can deduce which of the two possible permutations it is

The lack of formalism wrt broadcasting in deep learning models annoyed me so much I learned category theory. Weaves, Wires, and Morphisms is now out on arXiv! First step to using the Yoneda lemma to automatically derive fused kernels. arxiv.org/abs/2604.07242
