You know what’s fucking insane? There are actually people in the United States right now that have ZERO clue what even went down today.

As an American living in Galveston County, Texas, I have never felt threatened by Iran — a country roughly 7,440 miles away. They’re right here: the growing hatred of our own history, the mockery of the Christian faith, the zeal for abortion, the destruction of marriage, the corruption of youth, and the steady erosion of freedom. Yet the Church does not call us to despair or hatred. She calls us to prayer, to protection of the innocent (here and abroad), and to the hard work of sanctification. Join me in praying with Fr. Rarely see the crown of thorns on icons of Christs crucifixion I’ve seen them on icons, just not very often
