@MarkCHealey We all know what Peralta is, but to me Myers is just as huge of a piece. Very effective in relief and starting and rubber arm. Huge pickup as the "throw in"

@MarkCHealey It can't be due to age but for 2 years his offense has just fallen badly. I want him to do well also. I hope he can make some adjustments and improve because he is an important piece

I really want to like Marcus Semien, he’s a pro, hustles, and is solid defensively. But he looks lost at the plate.

@MarkCHealey Unlike Nimmo, I don't think his salary would preclude them from trading him eventually, but I would prefer he does well because he's a great defender and a great clubhouse guy

That was a lot to ask of Richard Lovelady to pitch in two high leverage games in a row, especially after he threw 20 pitches yesterday. Brooks Raley threw 11 yesterday for what it’s worth. But he is in a DFA candidate, of course. #Mets

At some point, you have to think about taking a chance on Kimbrel over Lovelady and foregoing the lefty and righty thing. If he’s going to hang sliders left and right, what’s the point? One is proven veteran. The other is a proven scrub. #Mets
