Solana is the leading chain in prediction market footprint.
I looked into what that actually means.
Footprint bundles a few stats: how many PM platforms a chain has, how many are live, how many are original vs forks.
Having the most platforms means nothing when most are clones of the same binary format.
The interesting part is that Solana has 10 prediction markets that go beyond yes/no structure. Every other chain has one or two max.
→ @Dekantfi lets you bet on a range
→ @intodotspace lets you trade predictions with leverage
→ @HedgehogMarket lets you bet without risking your deposit
Solana isn't winning on volume. @Kalshi and @Polymarket dominate there.
It wins on variety because sub-cent fees make launching cheap.

@adelbucetta Exactly the thesis. Parlays carry the highest hold of any bet type ~5% on singles vs 20-40% on parlays in sportsbook industry numbers. Spread compounds per leg. Add a single concentrated pool backing every parlay placed → max capital efficiency × max take rate

Colosseum hackathon had some genuinely exciting builds. Here are the 7 projects I found most interesting 👇

2- @packetchat ; Agent to agent messaging on Solana. The communication primitive multi-agent systems have been missing. ( Dope branding )
3- @ridemarkets ; Onchain prop firm built on futarchy. Call a trade, the crowd bets YES/NO, the treasury executes. Win = 30% of profit. Lose = walk away from a $9 bond. No margin, no liquidation. ( big news at @islanddao )
4-@Voightxyz ; Observability for AI agents. Every prompt, tool call, and decision anchored on-chain. One paste to wire it in.

One of the biggest categories in the hackathon
After scrolling through the projects, a lot of it seems to be forming around agent primitives:
• Trading agents need brakes, not just alpha
Example: @0xGeckoRails, a strategy layer for autonomous trading agents
• Agents need permissions before they touch money
Example: @usekixa, permission controls for what agents can do on Solana
• Agents need native payment rails
Example: @ryvonetwork, an open agentic payment network
• Agents need security layers before they handle funds

• Agents need capital and credit rails
