What is the deal with all of the Israeli hate? A country the size of New Jersey that has been under attack since it reformed in 1949. Somehow a bunch of people consider it the bad guy. Blows my mind but I have read revelations. I assumed I would not be alive to see it but not so sure anymore,

@real_harmon China has over 80% of the wheat reserves in the world
They are prepared for war
Yes the US has better oil capacity, but what good is that when it takes 30 years for them to get their ships back online after China sinks the US navy in the first month of fighting?
English

We don’t talk enough about just how badly the US would get COOKED if it were foolish enough to start a war with China
We often hear in the news American politicians demonizing China and threatening a war over Taiwan— an island they don’t even recognize as a state…
But if they were to make good on their threats and appease the reddit libcon-zionist Atlantoids who post B2 dam memes and uphold cartoon dogs on blu*sky— they would get so pulvarized it’s not even funny
Let’s look at each traditional dimension of a war with China: air, land, and sea.
I won’t get into AI and satellite warfare because that’s beyond obvious in favour of China. China leads AI development and was first to shoot down a satellite
But in the air, the US has the most favourable matching. The US has more stealth aircraft and could do some damage.
But Chinese air to air missiles are superior these days. Pakistan SMOKED India’s Air Force last year armed with Chinese missiles
Once China detects the US it’s ejection time for their pilots
They will have a challenge staying out of radar detection even with their stealth
In sea it’s not close. US ships are technically better, but China has more ships.
But more importantly, China has 200x the shipbuilding capacity of the US
So once both navies have sustained a large amount of damage, China can rapidly replenish their numbers
The US is down and out once they lose their ships. It will take them decades to rebuild their navy
On the ground they will be unable to get very far because China has a larger army equipped with drones and goodies to throw at the US
And they can’t paratroop troops from stealth fighters or bombers so they won’t be able to get far inland without getting shot down
The only things the US can really do is hit their critical infrastructure and manufacturing. But if they go in that direction, China can do the same to the US with their ICBMs.
The US doesn’t have a path to victory
They don’t even have a path to victory against Iran.
It’s beyond goofy for them to claim they could take China
The People’s Liberation Army would COOOK the US 🔥

It’s nice to see ICE resurrecting babies rather than nearly killing them with tear gas. You’re making great strides, especially with unmasking and humanizing ICE at airports. I’m fairly certain that if you just kept ICE unmasked and held them to basic law enforcement standards, the Democrats would vote to reopen DHS. Your resistance is counterproductive and partisan. Keeping ICE masked and lawless puts them at much greater risk because doing so puts everyone around an ICE operation under threat of violence. This attracts protesters that ICE then battles with tear gas and rubber bullets, attracts the media, and prevents ICE from actually doing legitimate immigration enforcement. Just start doing your job and stop insisting on making theater in a political war against Democrats.
English

At JFK Airport, as travelers waited in hours-long lines, an infant became unresponsive and stopped breathing. The panic of the child’s family and nearby passengers were heard by an ICE agent stationed at a checkpoint.
This heroic officer immediately sprang into action—rushing toward the cries, taking the child, and performing a Heimlich maneuver that restored the infant’s breathing after nearly two minutes.
This officer’s extraordinary bravery embodies the selfless service of DHS law enforcement.

Would love to know how you people are so informed. Iran is winning, USA is losing, Trump is panicked. No one likes high prices but Fuel was higher when Russia invaded Ukraine. The world survived. Trumps legacy will depend on the outcome of this war. If Iran becomes a vacation destination, he will be remembered as one of the greatest presidents. If it becomes a quagmire, he will lose both the senate and house, be impeached a few more times and be a sitting duck last 2 years.

On Trump’s 10-day pause and the prospect of negotiations.
Washington is feeling the heat yet continues to misunderstand its adversary.
First and foremost, Trump’s post is aimed at trying to calm global markets.
Economically, the war has already had dramatic negative ramifications—no number of Truth Social posts to the contrary will change this.
Gas prices continue to climb within the United States, averaging nearly $4/gal. When Trump first posted about possible negotiations this past Monday, crude oil prices plummeted from a peak of $101 to a low of roughly $87, ending at roughly $92. Prices also dropped this time, but not near as much—Truth Social posts can’t mask the impact on the global energy market. Today, oil prices dropped from a high of roughly $95 dollars to a low of $92 dollars, and currently stand at roughly $93. The markets are adapting to his gaslighting. Even if the war ends today, experts believe higher prices will persist into early winter. Today, US stocks also had their biggest drop since the war began.
Oil is not the only economic factor to watch. The 10-yr treasury yield also rose today to its highest point since July 2025 (meaning higher interest rates). The war has wiped out roughly $11.5 trillion in global equities and more than $2.5 trillion from the value of global bonds.
Second, Trump’s post is likely an attempt to test the waters and gauge Tehran’s interest in negotiations.
Yet, he continues to fundamentally misunderstand his adversary. From what has been leaked to the media, Trump’s demands remain maximalist despite Tehran having tremendous leverage over the global energy market. The regime has not collapsed, is unlikely to collapse, and is currently run by a more extreme cadre of IRGC who feel they are creating a new status quo between Tehran and Washington—one that can only be sustained by keeping the pressure high.
Tehran is prepared for a prolonged war of attrition. Absent considerable concessions from the United States, Tehran feels it has not yet inflicted a high enough level of pain to prevent this from happening again. If negotiations proceed, the regime will want credible assurances the Trump and Israel will not attack again. They don’t want this to happen a third time—they want any settlement to be lasting.
As Trump scrambles behind the scenes, he is also sending more troops to the Middle East for a possible ground invasion into Iranian territory, likely Kharg Island and potentially some other small islands off the coast—perhaps even parts of the coast itself. This would be disastrous for the United States. Washington has reached the point of diminishing returns at the tactical level. Seizing Kharg Island will not eliminate Iran's ability to export oil. Nor will further escalation will not change the calculus of the regime, particularly when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz, which remains their greatest source of leverage.
If Trump proceeds with this plan, Iran will increase its attacks on both critical energy infrastructure in the region and the US soldiers themselves. At that point, it’s game over, and an offramp to keep this from spiraling out of control—if it hasn’t already—will likely be lost.

🚨 President Donald J. Trump calls for a pause on all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions.

@Microinteracti1 Absolutely no way none of our military, political leaders, or even pentagon janitors didn’t think of those things. A democrat would even thought of those.
English

Nobody in the Trump administration planned for Iran to shut the Strait of Hormuz. Nobody planned for sustained missile strikes on American bases across the Gulf. Nobody planned for an energy crisis. Nobody planned for Europe to look at Washington, shrug, and walk the other way.
Nobody, it turns out, planned for very much at all.
Read the accounts of how this war was decided and you are left with one deeply uncomfortable realisation: the people who launched it appear to have been genuinely surprised by almost everything that followed. The Iranians shot back. The allies didn’t show up. The oil price went vertical. All of it, apparently, news to them.
Which leaves two questions so obvious they’re almost embarrassing to ask.
What exactly did they think was going to happen?
And did anyone, in any room, at any point, think further ahead than the applause?

@pennytrader99 @zerohedge In short: the U.S. imports a meaningful portion (around 30–40% gross) to keep its massive refining and consumption system running smoothly, but it is far less "dependent" overall than it was two decades ago. It is a gross exporter of petroleum.

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin.
She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc.
We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!).
We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine.
She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8).
We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this.
Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47).
Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior.
A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands.
"God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31)
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

Tom Buck (Five Point Buck)@TomBuck
If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.
