The exact pitch deck that helped us raise a $9M Seed Round copy whatever you want VCs that invested: → @SusquehannaVC (led) → @LightspeedIndia@BCapitalGroup → Seaborne Capital → @beenextVC@sparrowcapvc@2point2club joined. fundraising is hard enough without guessing what investors want to see. so - I'm making our deck public. if you're raising right now, take it and make it yours. Reply 'deck' + follow (so I can DM it over)

Wow... I lost 1,000,000 subscribers. And all my childhood videos. AI moderation is out of control @YouTube Their AI bot claims I violated "dangerous content policy" by claiming "guaranteed returns" or promoting a pyramid scheme. I've never done any of that and can prove endlessly. All I did was document trying and testing online businesses since 13 years old. - I have never promoted scams. - I have never put my community at danger. - I have never violated terms intentionally, and when AI flagged my content, I corrected immediately. If sharing business experience and lessons was so 'dangerous', then why did over 1,000,000 subscribe? Why did over 400K people return every month to watch AGAIN? I was getting thousands of messages a week from people who found my free content useful. Knowing I've done nothing wrong, I just thought I'll appeal, they'll see AI made a mistake, and my life's work will be given back to me. I appealed multiple times, and every time I did, I just got a generic response that they won't return my channel. We had 14 full time employees who depended on this channel to feed their families. So YouTube's AI response not only affects me, but affects our team, and millions of people whose lives were positively impacted by this channel. I have been in this space since 2011, and it's heartbreaking to witness AI police bully the whole @YouTubeCreators community. Over a decade of sweat and tears gone in an instant. And I am not the only one that got unfairly removed. Incompetence of AI moderation has financially and emotionally damaged millions of creators. I'm not making this post to beg for sympathy, but as a warning to all creators. If AI can do this to me with over a decade of content and a community of 1,000,000+ people... Then no one is safe anymore. So what can you do? 1) Own your audience. Use YouTube to get discovered, and funnel that audience to a community, group, or email list outside. 2) Retweet this. If we spread awareness far enough, more people will learn about AI police brutality on YouTube. 3) If you’ve had a similar experience, reply. I’m collecting stories. 4) Keep serving your community. Got wrongfully removed? Okay, it's not fair, but you have to keep going. Your audience went to you for a reason. They trust you and you should never let them down. So find strength to rebuild from scratch. It might take a year, 5 or even 10, but time will pass anyways. And you only lose if you stop playing. Lots of love, - Dave🫶🏻

I used to spent 6 hours manually creating a social media carousel. Research: 2 hours Writing: 1 hours Design: 3 hour Result: One carousel Then I found an automation that does it in 8 minutes. Here's what it does: Input: "Claude 4 launch" + "Marketing leaders" Output: A 10-slide carousel with: - Research from 10+ credible sources (using Tavily AI) - Narrative that flows like a story, not bullet points (using GPT-4) - Professional design you'd pay $200 for (using @GammaApp ) - Auto-saved to Google Sheets for review The workflow handles: - Web research (finds the best sources, not random blogs) - Content writing (sounds like you, not ChatGPT) - Visual design (scroll-stopping, mobile-optimized) - Organization (everything logged for your team to review) It's the same stack I use for carousels that regularly hit 30K-100K+ impressions. And I'm giving away this WORKFLOW to the first 500 people absolutely FREE. To receive this.... HeyGen for long-form UGC is f*cking insane 🤯 Everyone's hyped about Veo 3.1 for UGC videos. But there's one massive limitation: 8-second clips max. HeyGen solves this—and lets you generate 1-minute+ talking-to-camera UGC videos, at scale. Perfect for DTC brands & agencies who need long-form product testimonials without hiring creators. Here's the problem: Veo 3.1 creates amazing 8-second clips, but you need LONGER videos for product demos, testimonials, and full explanations. Stitching 8-second clips together looks choppy and breaks the flow. HeyGen solves it: → Creates 1-minute+ UGC-style videos → AI creators talk directly to camera holding your product → Natural testimonial delivery (not robotic) → Perfect for ads, landing pages, email campaigns → Generate unlimited variations with different scripts No hiring creators. No filming sessions. No 8-second limitations. What you can create: → 60-90+ second product testimonials → Talking-head demos with product in-hand → UGC-style reviews that actually convert → Multiple script variations for testing I recorded a 12-minute Loom walkthrough showing you exactly how to create these for your brand step-by-step. Want the complete HeyGen walkthrough? > Comment "HEYGEN" > Like this post And I'll send the Loom over (must be following so I can DM)

I had to make a tough decision at the beginning of this year. Pausing the YouTube channel I created, Birthday Series. [ICYMI: I started a passion project with @RyanGFoss last year—a YouTube vlog series where we served as the forcing function to knock something off the bucket list of a creator in each episode.] Its goal: To do epic things with epic people and live life to the fullest because you don’t know what tomorrow will bring. And we did it. We fulfilled 6 wishes in 6 episodes over the course of almost a year. They ranged from a 131mi run from Montauk to NYC with 20 creators, to climbing the highest outdoor building in the Western Hemisphere. But what started as a passion project started to command too much attention and energy. I eventually had to put it on pause because @getplatter needed 150% of my attention. But it taught me 2 lessons: 1️⃣ The power of naivety Amazing things happen when people are naive about what it truly takes to execute them properly. I didn't realize the amount of time and effort that goes into content creation at that level (especially launching with a 131mi run…). I can't say with 100% confidence I would’ve done that run if I knew, but I'm glad I tried it out and didn't overthink it. Otherwise, I would’ve psyched myself out and shut down the series before it started. 2️⃣ How to create content I learned a lot about the pre-, during, and post-creation content process. ➝ Having a proper plan going in ➝ Recording enough footage ➝ How to approach storytelling ➝ The importance of decisiveness ➝ The process of video revisions The list goes on, and so do our learnings. It’s incredibly easy to undervalue the effort in content creation, so being surrounded by top creators and learning from our own mistakes as we grew was invaluable to Platter. As I said, the Birthday Series was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done—and I'm glad I paused it. Would I do it again? Maybe. But Platter wouldn't be where it is today if I kept it going. My advice: Don't be afraid to scratch the itch if you have a curiosity that you can't shake. It's worth the lessons you'll learn along the way. P.S. If you remember the Birthday Series, comment a "🎂"

The creator economy needs more businesses like @hashtagpaid attempting to bridge the gap between brands and creators. I realized how many brands are eager to find the right creators to sponsor and how many creators would love to have those brands’ support, but the discovery process to find the right decision-maker is still challenging for both sides. A few other learnings from last night’s Creator Culture event: • Find your tribe - you’d be amazed to see how many people genuinely want to help and see you win with no expectation for anything in return, keep those people close. • Consistency is the name of the game - I met some amazing creators last night who have been in the game for so long and will do it for years to come - those are the people who make it. Consistency compounds. Thankful to @hashtagpaid and @datkeed for letting @RyanGFoss and I tell our story and to our friends who jumped in on the live podcast session to share anecdotes about working with us so far @MChoi_6 @theoffgarrett As someone who is relatively new to the creator world, it was very inspiring to get exposed to all the resources out there to help on the journey.

Stoked to be doing a live podcast recording with @RyanGFoss and @datkeed this Thursday at the Meet the Creators event by @hashtagpaid We’ll be giving an inside look at what it took to get Birthday Series, our new YouTube channel, launched (it was an 8+ month project). We’ll cover things like: • Building a YouTube Channel from scratch • Supporting other creators throughout our own journey • How to create moments that resonate

How We Landed a Nike Sponsorship For Our First YouTube Video @RyanGFoss and I landed one of the largest brands in the world as a sponsor for our first-ever video on the Birthday Series channel — and today I’m giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how it all happened. We’ll also walk through what it actually looks like putting together a 131-mile run with 21 brand sponsors, 20 creators, and a 17-person production team (a lot more can go wrong than you think 😅). A few key points: • Closing sponsors for the video felt kind of similar to raising money for a company, so we were able to parlay our experience in that world into this • There was another apparel brand in conversations with us, and we were able to tactfully leverage that to close the Nike deal • The real work started when we closed the sponsorship dollars and had to coordinate the plan to put them to work This whole experience was one of the cooler moments of my life. Wellness hangouts > happy hours 🤌🤌
Ben Sharf@BenSharf

Yesterday morning I hosted a rooftop cold plunge hangout with @AaronSpivak2 , @chrismeadej, @iamshackelford and @RyanGFoss. It’s inspiring to me to see the shift away from ‘Happy Hour’ to a wellness hangout as a means to network (we had Popup Bagels and a Coldture cold plunge) where people could come hangout I want to do what I can to continue to enable that shift in culture. It was amazing to see so many impressive DTC founders and creators in one place, like: @andycloyd (Superfiliate) @Cha (Starday) @tzwor (Lunchbox) @RetentionAdam (Retention) @NoCodeKenny (MentorPass) @BusterScher (Hoops Nation) @livschreiber_ (Brand Caffeine) @Sumansiva (Marco Experiences) @andrewbcase (Noonbrew) @AmorosoBrandon (Electriq) (Sorry to anyone I missed here!) Huge thank you to everyone who stopped by! PS - Likely will be hosting these meetups more regularly… LMK in the comments if you'd want to come 🤝
