Allocating that 3.8+ acres additional to HMWSSB for drinking water infrastructure for neopolis is the most logical decision. This includes 2 acres of Vizag’s Sarada Trust land. The site is at the higher elevation in Neopolis, marked “S” in green, and is right next to the existing 8.75 acres of HMWSSB. From a technical and elevation point of view, this location makes perfect sense. Just FYI, This trust land was allotted by KCR to his beloved Swami Swaroopananda for just 1 rupee per acre and land just next to it sold at avg of ~138 crores per acre in recent auction. But @BRSHarish, @KarthikIndrAnna and @TeluguScribe are pointing to a random 111 GO land parcel nearly 1 km away and next to ORR and calling it an alternative. If they really want alternatives, why not talk about the 10 acres of prime land allotted to the BRS party at a cheap price? It is on higher elevation and closer than the site they are showing. They also ignore the large Nishada RMC land parcel marked in red, owned by someone close to them. It is sad that some folks are making politics out of land given for public purposes too.
