The astrodynamics of three-body NRH Orbits around Lunar Lagrange points for #CAPSTONE and #GATEWAY echo those of cross-sector collaboration dynamics, towards such future capabilities. Thank you for the vision & the science @dianecraigdavis @AdvancedSpace #t=23%3A01" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">soundcloud.com/nasa/houston-w…

Can someone help me understand what this is actually saying? willcounty.gov/county-offices… Can this data be used commercially or no? Sorry, terms of use are sometimes more complex than data.

The White House (OSTP) has just released a "Celestial Time Standardization Policy" to establish time standards at and around celestial bodies other than Earth. Moon is initial focus and "Coordinated Lunar Time (ULC)" will be tied to UTC here on Earth. whitehouse.gov/wp-content/upl…

On this day 1 year ago, our #HAKUTO_R Mission 1 lunar lander entered into lunar orbit, capturing stunning images of the #Moon such as this one. We are looking forward to seeing what images our #RESILIENCE lander will capture during Mission 2! #ispace #lunarquest

Fascinating document just posted to the UNOOSA website, a submission by China to the UN COPUOS Working Group on space resource activities. There is plenty to dig into and discuss in this document #SpaceLaw" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">buff.ly/48DY1Yt#SpaceL#SpacePolicy #COPUOS

@TM_Eubanks @cosmos4u @nascom1 D for LNDemonstrator-1 is useful for instrument TRL path management and to differentiate its telemetry records from a future first Lunar Node.

For those wondering, Madrid's DSS56 has just received a good downlink from LND1, a NASA payload on IM1. LND1 needs to be commanded to transmit through the lander. Good telemetry was received at its nominal 25Kbps before being switched off. This is its first contact since landing

Of course Macron has a propensity of making needlessly vague statements that need to be walked back in ways that aren't great. But French debate and geopolitical thinking are also moving in ways that a Berlin scene wracked with solipsistic strategic inertia seems oblivious to.

@lutz_o_richter silver lining for the TRL of NDL, that was a decade in development for Mars 2020, and intended to become a standard landing sensor and eventually allow for more control, smaller landing legs, less prop reserves ...

#Odysseus So, disable switch inadvertently left on during ground processing for the laser rangefinder, as just explained by #IntuitiveMachines. Which is why the laser would not fire

this is interesting: someone compiled the timeline for getting to bipedal walking oftentimes ppl think 2-legged walking is the hardest part, this was true a decade ago but not anymore

I think the most impactful thing about the SLIM mission is that every planetary lander going forward should normalize deploying some small balls to take an “after” picture. Why haven’t we thought of this before? global.jaxa.jp/press/2024/01/…
