@nicksortor @nicksortor Hey shithead, you’re a nobody, and she’s a US senator. Lots of people with 6-figure salaries are multi millionaires thanks to years of stock market compounding. You racist ahole for calling her Pocahontas.
English

Hey Pocahontas, it’s been over a YEAR since I asked you this, and you STILL haven’t told us:
How did you amass a $12 MILLION net worth on a $176,000 salary??!
The math ain’t mathin’!
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.
English

@BrilynHollyhand Uh, no. You loathed Obama because you’re a racist who resented that a black American could become President. We love America. We loathe Trump because he’s a convicted felon, racist and serial rapist who is openly corrupt, cruel and doesn’t give a shit about you.
English

@FranVezz Yep. $META, $AMZN and $MSFT are also under the 50 DMA. $GOOG just touched it.
English

@MichaelWalstedt Thanks. What about the more common case where the 401K contributions + company matches have been dollar cost averaged into an index fund for a decade or more? Is it still advisable not to roll over to an IRA after leaving the company or retiring?
English

Some other companies where this might be valuable information for
$WDC Western Digital has been around for a long time but only recently experienced tremendous price appreciation. If you are an employee at this company and have been buying stock the entire time, it is likely a significant position at this point. Same goes for companies like $DELL $MU $MRVL $INTC $SNDK.
A couple other relative new companies include $ARM & $BE.
English

If you work in tech and your 401(k) holds company stock, this is worth 3 minutes of your time.
Let's say your company matches your 401(k) contributions with company stock, or offers an ESOP. Over the last few years, you have likely seen your stock benefit from AI and appreciate significantly.
When you leave your job or retire, the default move is to rollover your 401(k) to an IRA.
But if your plan holds company stock with a low cost basis, which is often the case with a lot of these tech companies, the default move to rollover to an IRA could cost you A LOT in unnecessary taxes.
Here's why: everything inside an IRA gets taxed as ordinary rates when you withdraw it, which means you could pay 30%+ in taxes on your gains.
Net Unrealized Appreciation (NUA) gives you a different option.
Instead of rolling the stock into an IRA, you take it out in-kind. You pay ordinary income tax on the original (low) cost basis. Then, all the built up gains will be taxed as long-term capital gains - which can be as low as 15% or 20%, instead of 30%+.
Think about that - you could potentially pay HALF the amount of taxes by leveraging this type of planning opportunity.
Think about what this means if you work for and have been holding $NVDA $META $MSFT for years. Or even if you work for newer companies that have IPO'd in the last couple years like $CRWV $CBRS $CRCL.
The window to use this strategy is narrow though. And once you rollover into an IRA, the opportunity is lost forever.
If you are in this position, or know someone in tech that might be in this position, it's worth it to have the conversation before you make any moves. The opportunity doesn't come back.
English

@itsrosesm Probability that you don’t understand the word “probability” is 100%.
English

@jmoneystonks Not sure, but $APH , $CRDO and $RDDT all ended the day well today.
English

@PrimeTrading_ Steel sector - $NUE, $STLD - also holding up well. And $APH and $RDDT both ended up strong today.

@Ryan_Parkerrr That would be our pleasure. Average morality and politeness in the country will increase.
English

@RepNancyMace A German student and a French student meet while in grad school in the US, and have a baby born here. What country is the baby a citizen of, @RepNancyMace ?
English

JUST IN: We're introducing a constitutional amendment tomorrow to slam shut one of the biggest loopholes in American immigration law: automatic citizenship for children born on U.S. soil to parents who are here illegally.
The joint resolution would clarify, under the 14th Amendment, a person born in the United States is only "subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States, and eligible for citizenship, if at least one parent is a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or a lawful permanent resident. Children of illegal immigrants would no longer receive automatic citizenship simply by being born on American soil.
For too long, the federal government has allowed a deliberate misreading of our Constitution to reward illegal entry with one of the most sacred gifts America can give: citizenship. This loophole has been exploited for decades. It ends now.

English

@FranVezz Yep. Time to put in trailing stops. Some of us are struggling with that in taxable accounts due to the massive cap gains taxes we would owe. But better to pay the taxes than lose these once-in-a-lifetime gains
English

Remain humble. Keep your feet on the ground. Forget the $, keep focused on the process that got you it.
We can all agree that this is a remarkable market, but..
There's no free lunch in the stock market.
'Trading gravity', I like to call it, is a real thing.
The time will come when we see a gut-wrenching sell in these semi, memory, software leading names- a big, nasty down day.
I am not fear mongering - I am suggesting to plan for the other side of your trade, and know what you'll do what in happens, instead of being a deer in the headlights.

@NiohBerg Why did so many MAGA women vote for a convicted felon, rapist and pedo protector who openly bragged about sexual assault (grabbing women by the …). It’s because they wanted to vote the same way as their husbands and boyfriends.
English

@WisemanCap More like market needed to sell $META and $AMZN today to buy names like $NOW, $CRWV, $NBIS and $DELL.
English

@CherieDamour_ Wrong. My Indian American friends have a bucket list of destinations they want to explore before they reach old age. Same as many American-born citizens.
English

The lndians won’t get it .. they don’t get that people travel to experience the culture of the place they travel to.
Indians travel to show off. They go there and want people to see them. They are not curious about the place they travel to. They don’t care for any cultural experience. They just go to show off themselves. They want to take pics in popular places , doing their own (uncouth) stuff. Their travel experiences for their social media bragging , about how they showed off their own “superior culture) to the people of the host country.
This is extreme form of inferiority complex.
English

@subtleepiphany @RepNancyMace Reason is simple. Foreign born employees work harder and show up. American born employees just feel more entitled, but they don’t put in the work. India origin tech workers, in particular, raise their hands for every task and get work done faster and better.
English

@RepNancyMace If it works for an American government, why not American Corporations?!? Why fall short?!? 🇺🇸
Americans deserve…
- American employees/jobs
- American c-level execs
- American board of directors
No more offshoring service jobs!!!
Do better!!! We the people deserve it!!!

English

INTRODUCING: The Hire American Act.
This bill does exactly what its title says: hire American workers only. The legislation amends title 5 of the United States Code to restrict federal government employment to U.S. citizens and nationals ONLY.
American taxpayers foot the bill for every single federal job in this country. Every salary. Every benefit. Every pension. Those jobs belong to American workers, not non-citizens. Right now, there is no permanent law stopping a non-citizen from being hired by a federal agency or put on the federal payroll. Our bill ends this.
Prior to any appointment, individuals must sign an affidavit attesting to their citizenship status and the hiring agency must verify it. Anyone who lies faces up to a $50,000 fine and five years in prison.
The Office of Personnel Management must report to Congress on the number of current non-citizen federal employees disaggregated by agency and position within 180 days.
The American people are tired of a government working against them. They deserve to know the people running federal agencies, handling their data, and accessing classified information are Americans first.

@JLuther2026 @amelia_tweetz Your post is well written but I disagree about the last paragraph. You only see Republicans acting tribal. Democrats have promoted equality irrespective of skin color or religion for decades
English

This will sound like excuses, but reality is, there are racists, misogynists, cruel, thoughtless, uneducated adults in every country on the planet. There is a term for it, it’s tribalism. And personally I believe in the yin and yang, balance, ebb and flow, and the swing of pendulum. And as a society, as we create more “demons” out of ordinary people, the harsher the reaction.
For instance labeling all Trump voters ignorant, racist, and fascist pushes them further away, just like labeling Biden/Harris voters socialists, communists, ignorant, etc pushes them further away.
Or abortion, are you pro choice, then you are obviously a murderer, are you pro life, then you obviously hate women and you want to deny healthcare that will kill women.
Immigration, are you for borders and arresting and deporting people here illegally, you must be a racist. Do you support sanctuary states/cities, believe people should be allowed to come here freely, then you must hate the United States and want to see it collapse.
Please don’t be blind to the fact that our “trusted” leaders no matter Democrat or Republican, want us in tribes so we are easier to manipulate. They have eliminated middle ground and compromise on purpose. A divided people are easier to control.
English

My biggest disappointment in this phase of my life, is that I now know how many truly ignorant people inhabit this country with me. How many racists. How many misogynists. How many cruel, thoughtless, uneducated adults are directing my future, and the future of my children and grandchildren.
We have trly lost our way as a country, and it horrifies me to know how many people are OK with that.
English

@CynicalPublius This tells me your morals are in the gutter, and you’re in a delusional cult. And you enjoy paying higher prices for everything. Get help.

I'm in my very early 60s.
The best President of my lifetime is Donald Trump.
The best Vice President of my lifetime is JD Vance.
The best SecDef/War of my lifetime is Pete Hegseth.
The best SecState of my lifetime is Marco Rubio.
The best SecTreasury of my lifetime is Scott Bessent.
The best entrepreneur of my lifetime is Elon Musk.
We truly live in a Golden Age.
English

@JohnTheKnife @HouseDemocrats Yeah, right. Trump's first wife divorced him after he raped her.
English

@HouseDemocrats Whereas the last two Democratic administration were completely about that PLUS communism and anti- Americanism.

English

@SenTuberville It’s precisely because we love our country that we will vote the corrupt Republican Trump bootlickers out this November. They are helping to destroy the Constitution, which we love and hold dear.
English

@AhmedH_007 @jax_joint @IngrahamAngle Indian students are adding no value to the US economy? They're literally keeping US universities afloat with their tuition payments. Colleges would sink without them. They graduate, then keep local businesses alive because they are among the top 10% of income earners in the US
English

@jax_joint @IngrahamAngle Trouble is, US isn’t getting the best talent anyway.
I would advocate for STEM grads from the likes of Harvard, Princeton, MIT and Stanford to stay in the US. But US instead is getting hordes of ‘Singh’ college grads from India who add no value to the economy.
English

Good point. India impetuously acts like it has an eternal right to ship as many foreign workers here as possible.
