With the amazing success and popularity of this year's World Cup I have a few ideas on how America can capitalize on this momentum: - Always play this tournament in the USA - Play it every year - Move it to the fall so that the weather is a little less hot - Go back to 32 teams, 8 groups of 4 - Spread the games out so each team plays once a week, knockout rounds start in January - Have the clock count down, not up - Increase the scoring a bit, a successful kick should be worth 3 - Allow players to touch the ball with their hands - They can throw it forward, but only once per play - Make keeping possession more important, if you possess the ball all the way to the opponent's end line, let's make that 6 points - Shorten the game to 60 minutes - Add more commercial breaks - Make the ball not round - Full-on tackling is legal I think this would be a great way to utilize all these amazing stadiums we have much more often. What do you guys think?

🚨🇳🇱 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Some Dutch fans believe that the Netherlands should LET THEMSELVES LOSE to Tunisia to avoid facing Brazil in the round of 32. If they finish top of the group, the Netherlands would probably face Brazil; if they finish second, they would probably face Morocco.

Norway v Senegal *WAS* the World Cup’s only group-stage match where one country’s polar waters are warmed, while the other’s tropical waters are cooled. Norway’s northern seas are kept mild by Gulf Stream, and Senegal’s coast is cooled by the Canary Current upwelling. Stay tuned for more cutting-edge, geography-based World Cup analysis. * Hat-tip to @bbculp for the idea. My original post stated that this game was the only group-stage match where there were continental extremes (north, south, east, west), but this was false (Columbia, Turkey etc).

@FedeManfredo The ball is clearly out of possession. Neither player are close to the ball when contact is made. Prince takes out Konza by illegally tackling from the back with his knee as Konza is reaching for the ball.

Google fired the guy that made the google workspace cli, because he made the google workspace cli. Lucky me, Google can't fire me. gogcli.sh
Justin Poehnelt@JPoehnelt

Two months ago I was fired by Google for creating the Google Workspace CLI. It went viral, hit #1 on Hacker News, gained thousands of GitHub stars and many thousands of actual users in just a couple days. It was an incredible, confusing journey, from directors and leaders asking what they could learn from the tool to getting grilled by legal about why the Google logo and brand colors are on the Google Workspace GitHub code repositories. I think the cause was that Workspace and certain leaders (and projects) were afraid of being disrupted. But the fear wasn't specific to my CLI, it was a broader fear in what agents meant for Workspace. Either way, the irony of my termination was the announcement at Google Cloud Next two days before I was fired that an official Workspace CLI was coming. I want this out there because it is easier for me to explain my story and it is an experience I want to fully own. It's also part of my healing. Nearly 7 years at Google was an incredible opportunity for me and I was fortunate to have wonderful teammates and a manager that fully supported me through these last few months. Thank you.

@ESchwaa @FedeManfredo Does that mean we can just take out any player on the field if they don't have the ball? It's a stonewall penalty. Incredible

Why wouldn’t it have access to git and all the skills? I would think about it as a Claude Code remote session that the whole team engages with through a slack channel, including other tools already exposed in slack. The bigger problem is that many teams have made a Slack exodus post Saleforce

@karpathy @salomon_diei I actually think Slack is still not the best tool to work from with agents, I get it - for now it’s the best thing that teams currently have to collab. We need tool that can do GitHub actions and have access to the cloud, plus pool of skills of course.

This is a new paradigm for interacting with Claude that is significantly more "inline" with all the other human activity org-wide. Once you do all of the under the hood engineering work to make this "just work" (e.g. across tools, integrations, compute environments, memory, security, etc.), Claude basically joins the team in a seamless way - you can talk to it as you would talk to a person and it can help with a very large variety of workloads. Imo this is the 3rd major redesign of LLM UIUX. The first paradigm was that the LLM is a website you go to, the second was that it is an app you download to your computer. This third one is that it is a self-contained, persistent, asynchronous entity with org-wide tools and context, working alongside teams of humans. It really takes a while to wrap your head around it, but it works and it is awesome.
Claude@claudeai

Introducing Claude Tag, a new way for teams to work with Claude. In Slack, Claude joins as a team member with access to the channels and tools you choose. Tag Claude in and delegate tasks to it while you focus on other work.

Very interesting thanks for taking time to give more explanations. Can’t wait to try it. When you say you work from slack now, do you mean you do not use the claude code CLI or any IDE and just talk to your agents via slack ? @realsigridjin still makes me feel of how you guys use Discord as IDE. As for me i’m still keen on using telegram
