Shout out to my co-authors @mesmetana and @IMPharmD for a successful publication! Was a good excuse to explore the literature on anticoagulation in chronic liver disease with the ones who taught me everything I know on the topic!

@ArendtDr Biggest thing for me was getting alerts to new data or practice changes as soon as they happened. Has allowed me to stay up to practice in a variety of areas (and look smarter when my teams ask about new data!) without having to scour every journal. Also keeps things succinct!

Patients with liver disease may present with an ⬆️ coagulation panel 🩸🩸 but they can actually be at ⬆️ risk for clotting 🔴 too 🥴
(So don’t d/c that DVT prophylaxis just because of a bump in the INR😉)

Today, about 1,700 #COVID19 vaccines were administered as @TheSchott officially opened as a mass vaccination site for Phase 1B. Another historic day in the books as we take the next step forward in the fight against the virus. 💉
