Ah yes, @Xfinity, just what I was hoping for my Friday evening. 2.5 hours+ trying to triage why your new cable modem won’t seem to recognize itself. Your online “chat” assistants have been little help.
Day 01 @AIANational’s #A23con#architecture junkie tour of Morphosis and Libeskind works + LIVE #coffeesketch talking resilient buildings with our good friend, purveyor of the craft cocktails, former @AIAYAF Jon Penndorf FAIA | ☕️🖊️🎙️
@Anc6B10@SnarkitectDC@dcwater@AlcornANC7D08@ANC7D09@Tanisheart51@dcwater just did our block. They’ve been avg. about 2 houses/ shift. First 2-3 hours is excavating (marked & precut 3+ days prior). Been really efficient when you see the depth of the work. Water was off for about 3 hours. Nearly all replacements were closed up the same day.
@dcwater is this correct? Any chance this work can be done in normal business hours? An 8 hour shut off right when people get home on a Monday… not to mention this is our third water shut off in two weeks. @Anc6B10
@dcwater@Anc6B10 I see. I can understand that, though we don’t have many businesses in this part of the neighborhood (and the convenience stores are all open late).
@SnarkitectDC@Anc6B10 The 4 pm start time was chosen to try to lessen the impact on businesses in the area while not starting so late that it will be disruptive overnight to residents. In short, we're trying to strike a balance.
@311DCgov - anything you can do about this? Matching wasp/hornet nests on either side of 16th St. SE. 200 block just north of Mass Ave SE. @Anc6B10 or whoever it is now…
